Flying High Again

Get ready for the next update! We just wanna play test it a bit more and likely set it loose in the next few days. I’m happy to report that the big addition to the game with this update is flying moves! Kola animated us a gorgeous Moonsault and Robert used his coding voodoo to use the asset for targeting opponents in any position (standing, lying, etc.) and it works great! Kola has already moved on to animating the Irish Whip now so we can move on to running attacks and corner grapple moves. Version 1.0 here we come! WOOOOO!!!

Twitch Switch

We switched things up a bit this week a tried a Twitch broadcast on Thursday instead of Tuesday and it went well! Tuesday will continue to be our regular Twitch day but we’ll likely continue experimenting with different days and times to give people in different time zones a chance to pop in.

Check it out, it was a fun broadcast with some great questions, new animation work from Kola, and a play test of the upcoming build with new flying moves.

We archive all Twitch broadcasts at our PWX Youtube channel.

Song Access

I can’t remember if I made this available earlier but judging by the amount of requests I’m still getting I’m guessing not. The link below will get you the “Beat Him Up” song we use for the main Pro Wrestling X menu and background music. It was written and recorded by my band, Against My Religion, sometime in the early 90’s in Vancouver. I played guitar in the band along with my friends and bandmates Ken, Alex, and Miss Benny. Good times, playing on shows with everyone from Gob to Devon Townsend and Strapping Young Lad. I uploaded the better sounding wav file instead of the mp3. Rawk on!

Indy Scene Wrestling

A Kickstarter campaign just launched for a new PC pro wrestling video game. Thought you might be interested in taking a look:

In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.
