Whoopsie! I woke up today thinking it was Thursday, and it’s Friday! Doh! [Technically, the newsletter didn’t get posted until Saturday, making it even worse!]

I have to be gone in a few minutes, so let me just update you with the news that our art and animation reboot has been chugging along awesomely over the holidays. Our awesome new lead animator has been working on closing out a gameplay loop of animations. Meaning, getting enough core animations done to have a match from beginning to end with properly animated strikes, sells, movement, grapple, grapple move, transitions, pinning. He posted updated pinning and Brainbuster animations over the holidays, and I can’t wait to share them with you guys.

Over the next week we’re back on the Kickstarter campaign hardcore. We could be progressing 100X faster with even a modest amount of proper funding, so we’ll be laser focused on that campaign after the holidays.

Now if you’ll please excuse me, the Universe gave me a present of a dead washing machine and I have to go hunt down 40-year-old parts. I’m out of clean socks, dammit.

In the meantime and in between time, that’s it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.
