Okay, I've owned this game for ages now and I'm just getting into it. I was wondering if there were any CAW sites about for the game as almost every Fire Pro based site has Downloadable stuff and I don't have the facilities to download stuff and put it on my PS2. So, anyone?
fireproclub.com has tutorials on how to import a save game file from the internet using only a burned CD. Of course you have to be able to load burned CDs, but if you're able to load imports you can probably do burned games as well. joenetpc.com has a translation patch for the game as well.
You have to use Swap Magic or a modchip or something similar or it won't recognize burned media at all. I just presumed you were using a U.S. PS2 that's modded or whatever :)
No, I use a Korean PS2. My father has a swap disc thing for his PS2. My fathers is a British PS2 (the old fat kind), and you have to use some hook contraption. I've looked round his house but I can't find the swap stuff anywhere.
OKay I got a question also...say i make a backup of the upcoming Agetec Fire Pro R, will that backup work on my ps2 or do I need additional stuff to make this copy run like a swap disc?
NOTE: The backup copy is for my personal use only. I like to put away my originals for safe keeping.
To play a back up on any type of PS2 you need it to be modded.

Unfortunatly, pretty much since after FPG, templates have gone extinct in the Fire Pro World. There were a few sites that had some for FPA and FPA 2 on the gameboy, but even those sites lost their server eventually.
The only reason several templates were made in FPD was someone made a program that read the save files from FPD and could convert it into a html template. No one has been able to crack the saves for FPZ and FPR to make the same type of program, though many people have tried.
With the ease of use of transfer devices, people stopped taking the 2 + hours to create templates.
I know there is an on-line template creator for move sets, skills, and logic, for use with FPR, and a few people have used that, but it is basically a dry area.
