1) Controllers ************** We tried some other controllers this week and so far they all worked perfectly fine with PWX Uprising. Everything from generic GameStop store brand 360 controllers to those old Logitech PS2-type thingies. Good news, eh?
2) 2 Steps Closer ***************** A few days ago I submitted new data files to our lead programmer. These data files contained a master "movedata" list that cleaned up a ton of animation rotation errors in a lot of old moves and new moves that had been added to the game from rescued animation files (two new chops and a club to neck). I also submitted all new character data files that more evenly and appropriately distributes the moves among the characters. No more heavyweight power moves for the little French Canadian girl. The updated data gave the game one of the biggest visible and playable improvements in probably the last year. Woohoo! Now to finalize the ground submissions...
3) 8 bit Tirador ************ My wife is thrilled. When I'm not working on PWX or talking about PWX I'm now covering our walls with PWX paintings:

4) Bizarro ******** If you had told me eight years ago that one day Smackdown would be the leading wrestling simulation on the market and Fire Pro was a goofy arcadey game for the casual market I would have never believed you.

Now that standard game controllers are fully operable, I await experimentation investigating whether analogue-stick grappling can be implemented into later builds of PWX.
