Is this game going to use 360 controllers exclusively? Will I be able to use my Logitech gamepad? (You know, one of these: http://images.highspeedbackbone.net/skuimages/large/Logitech-DualActionUSB-L23-.jpg) I ask because I bought a game called Black College Football Experience, and did not discover until I opened the box (and could no longer return the game for a refund) that it wouldn't recognize my Logitech; it accepts only keyboard or 360 controller. That kind of proprietary exclusivity infuriates me, and I swore that there was no way I was going to shell out the cash for a new controller. Please tell me I won't have to buy one to play PWX.
(Incidentally, I was looking through some old emails, and I found a reply from Dave to my question, in February of 2006, of a possible release date. Dave's answer was "We’re shooting for December of this year but we won’t rush it." LOLz. That's all right, better a good game than a rushed and sloppy game.)

@ducksworth: Gee, thanks sooooo much for reminding of that release date! LOL! Just goes to show that a guy who never shipped a game shouldn't be making release date estimates.
With regard to controller support we've been doing all of our development with the 360 controller so it's certainly working best with that one. However, I'm pretty positive Logitech will also be supported as long as the drivers play nice with our engine. We're using very standard solutions to controller input, nothing fancy, so I'm hopeful. I know my five year old Logitech USB pad works fine with PWX.
