    Hey guys!

I'm uploading a new gameplay clip in the next 24 hrs and I'll post a message here when it's up. It's a short sequence of animations and I wanted you to see for yourselves exactly where we are and how CLOSE we are to release.

A few notes about the vid:

-ignore the numbers and crap near the top of the screen. That's debug info for the programmer. The vid is from a programmer's development build.
-You'll notice art assets missing. We're putting all that stuff back last.
-All art is ugly. We only have rudimentary shadows turned on in this build with no fancy lighting or skin rendering shaders turned on either.

So do you see what I mean about it not being good enough to ship yet? Can you see the characters slipping out of place ever-so-slightly at times? This is all tedious trial-and-error stuff we are polishing frame by frame.

    But...so far so good yeah?

    Thanks again!

    Here it is:

It's really really short. I just wanted to whip up something quick for you to see. I'll post much longer clips as we progress. Thanks again!

Good to see how the game is progressing.

My attention was drawn to the dimensions of the ring however — the structure looks quite significantly oversized. Do you plan to include more "intimate" squared circles in the full release?

    Dave,

I hope that when this game comes out, the expansion pack won't take as long as this did.

I'm not saying that you're slow, I am just hoping.

The ring size confounds me as well. I think where we went haywire was when we referenced the real life units of the biggest WWE ring when modeling the ring. On the plus side, plenty of room for War Games down the road!

And, yes, expansion packs HAVE to take less time simply because we wont have to build an entire wrestling game from scratch. Five times.

    Awesome, Dave!

I can't wait for the expansion pack with Create-A-Entrance. That'll be sweet!

Just saying... I hope that's not the in game camera angle because I don't think I can play like that. Aside from that thanks for the video, gives me hope for this game.

    Thanks guys!

@CaMacKid: We have some more camera work to do so please feel free to post links to videos of wrestling games with camera angles you prefer and we can take it into consideration. Thanks!

    Dave,

Will there be tutorials on how to create content for the game like animations and such?

Yes, and we'll be active on forums as well to answer any questions you might have.
  4.
In that case, Dave, Can you recommend Blender? It's like 3DS Max, ZBrush & UDK put together.

It also comes with .x format exporting.

Our lead programmer is a big supporter of Blender and seeing as how we are supporting the .x format it's possible you may be able to at least some basic modeling mods to PWX.

Thank you for posting this clip. I agree Zin5ki that it really is nice to see where the game is at. The ring really does look big, though.
  5.
    Dave,

Do you still plan to offer the CAW module prior to the game release?

No, not before Uprising. I wanted to but got screwed out of that option just trying to get a working game done.
  6.
Fair enough. Still looking forward to Uprising. I feel it will be worth the wait.

I hope man I really hope so. I never in a million years would have guessed so much work had to go into such a relatively small little wrestling game.
