Welcome to Wrestling Gamers United Newsletter #426

    1) Texting
    2) Setting
    3) Sweating

    1) Texting
    ************************
The most important tool in PWX development this past week was not a game engine or some expensive 3D modeling software. It was Notepad. I think I logged at least 40 hours this week alone just editing text. I also find it odd that guy on the crew with the lease bit of actual experience with programming or 3D (me) is the guy compiling all these text docs of animation key frames, sequences, rotation corrections, states and conditions, etc. so that they are formatted properly for the programmer to use properly. But hey what can I say. I work cheaper than anyone else and I'm willing to learn. I wish I knew this much about real game development (which still isn't that much) when we first started. Oh the time and MONEY I would have saved. Go to my happy place, go to my happy place...

    2) Setting
    *****************
The menu system has been coming along nicely. Eric has been working pretty closely with our lead programmer fleshing out the new design elements needed for the extra settings options that are being added. It looks pretty good so far!

    3) Sweating
    **********
Keep your fingers crossed for lots of progress this weekend. Our lead programmer and I have a marathon 48 hour crunch session booked. Are we finally on the home stretch? I hope so. I know you certainly hope so. And I'm contantly reminded that our investors hope so. Eep. When our first game is finally released I don't know if I will explode with joy or collapse in tearful exhaustion.

In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.

    Thank you for your support,
    Dave Wishnowski
