So I was going through my DVD collection earlier. Making new covers for some of my home recorded DVDs to fit in the cases.
I came across a PPV I forgot I had and it was AWESOME watching it again.
WCW Wrestle War 1992
It featured my favorite gimmick match (The War Games) and had many of my favorite wrestlers of all time involved in it.
Sting's Squadron consisted of Sting, Nikita Koloff, 'The Natural' Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham and Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat.
They faced Paul E. Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance consisting of 'Ravishing' Rick Rude, 'Stunning' Steve Austin, 'Double A' Arn Anderson, 'Beautiful' Bobby Eaton, and Larry Zybsko.
Sting made Bobby quit to an armbar after Zybsko hit Bobby by accident with a turnbuckle eyelet.
Even made me remember the York Foundation....poor RICHARD Morton and TAYLOR made man. Alexandra York went on to become Marlena if you didn't know that.
Also got to see the Steiner Brothers when they were awesome against Tatsumi Fujinami and Takayuki Iizuka. This match made the Steiners the #1 contenders to Japans IWGP Tag titles.
Ahhh...good memories. Back when PPVs actually MEANT something, as far as I am concerned.
