    1) Who needs a Toilet anyway?
    ***********************
You know how I said we'd never add any new features to Uprising before we released it? I might have to take that back. Oops. How about replacing a feature that you never knew was there in the first place? Not my fault though! You see (long vague rant warning) in order to get something working in Uprising a long time ago we had to "break" a part of the engine. No problem we thought. We won't need that part anyway. That feature won't be in our game ever. Ha! We win!

Or so we thought until this week when it became apparent that our old decision was coming back to haunt us. Seems we might have to replace that functionality we previously took out in order to make existing features work as well as we want them to for release. In our defense, we had no way of knowing how intricately dependent some features would be upon others at the outset. No worries though. If there's anything home renovation has taught me it's that sometimes you have to fix the leaking toilet before you can paint the dining room. No worries. We're on it. It's working out for the best anyway.

    2) THQ Until 2014

It was recently announced that THQ has extended their WWE license until at least 2014. Woo.

    3) Voice work

I want to thank a great guy named Deryl for taking the time to contribute his excellent professional voice work to Uprising. What a difference it makes! He recently did some work on the referee and announcer audio that you'll hear during a match (pinfall counts, rope breaks, etc.) and it sounds really slick. I hope we get the chance to work with him some more. His work really adds a nice bit of polish to our scrappy little project. Thanks Deryl!

In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.

    Thank you for your support,
    Dave Wishnowski
