I think a 1st person camera option would make the game a lot like being in the ring. I don't think it's hard putting the camera on the wrestler's face programming-wise (although I have very little experience in the field). maybe test to see if it works and playable, as IMO if it works and could be implemented as an option along with the camera movement thing form the last newsletter will undoubtably make you the closest game ever to have a real in ring feel to it.

Mdickie's final wrestling game had such a feature. It didn't make for a very playable experience, I'm afraid.

As long as it's available. It's still an interesting feature.

It'll be good for a 3rd person view.

The right Game camera view is the Backbreakers football game when running back

Say if you was in this situation with on the game. It can make a match seems so good cause it's so close to real life when in a 3 way you have to "Keep on your toes". It would be so cool in a 3 way with luchas it will give it a X-Division style feel. In tag when in a "hot tag" moment it'll look good too. So I say 3rd person for multiman matches.

That looks amazing! I think the camera could stand to be a little closer actually.

So... do you think you'll add to the final version of PWX a 3rd person view like that as an option? as MG said it could be very fun for multi men matches

We can. But right now the character movement is directly related to your position in the ring. So if the camere followed you over your shoulder you'd end up having to do things like press up to go down or press diagonally to go straight. Very odd. But it might be fun especially if you were dazed ;)

I'm glad you like my idea. I wanted to pitch it for a while

What I like about a third person camera angle is that you wouldn't be able to see an opponent sneak up on you. Who knows, something like this might work out and be so much fun that it becomes the default camera position.

That camera angle would then really be perfect for manual targeting no? lol. I am soo pushing that feature.
