Hi there. I'm a male, 33 yoa, from Oslo, Norway.
I work as an artist & musician and give meditation cources part time as well.
Been a wrestling fan since around '84. LOVE pro wrestling, but not a huge fan of "footfetish-abortion-necrophilia-old ladies giving birth to hands-the chairman thinks he's a wrestler and takes the spot of real wrestlers at every f'n Wrestlemania"-sports entertainment stuff.

Miss competetive wrestling games that are build the way real wrestling matches are. So pretty exited abaout this project!

    Cheers

Hello I'm "The Modern Day Messiah" Nick Lane. I'm 15 years old and from Prescott, Ontario, Canada. I began wrestling training in October of 2006 and had my first match on September 1st 2007. Yes I am an indy wrestler, but being 15 I cannot get bookings with most feds because they don't accept people under 18, which sucks ass. So I stay with my trainer Allan Irish's fed PCW (Professional Championship Wrestling, yes I know theres like 10 feds with the same name, well mine is probably the least famous) And we wrestle out of North Augusta, Ontario (put that in on Wikipedia, last time i checked it had a tiny thing about PCW he he) My favorite fed of wrestling of all time would have to be either Ring of Honor or CHIKARA. I'm 6'5 295 lbs and love to wrestle, and love to play wrestling video games. I am excited about this project because finally it is something different than the WWE games which I love, but they get old pretty quick now-a-days. My favorite wrestler would be the now retired Steve Corino, because he mixes the old-school style with the Japanese Strong Style and i love it. Well that about sums it up

    Peace, from
"The Modern Day Messiah" Nick Lane

(P.S If your wondering what is up with the Modern Day Messiah stuff, thats my wrestling name, he he)

    Welcome aboard Nick.

Glad you found your way to the site, and I wish you luck with your career as a wrestler. Starting at your age isn't that uncommon for lots of people who have gone on to success in the wrestling business.

Stick with it, stay healthy and you'll be 18 before you know it and able to take that next step.

I hope you are getting a solid foundation to grow on. You certainly are pretty big for your age.

My name, as you can probably guess from my screen name, is Deryl Morley. I'm a NH native (go Pats I guess) and a broadcaster and announcer. At one point I had spoken to Dave about providing some sound bites for the game, but other things came up for both of us and it just kind of went away (the offer still stands by the way Dave, and still no charge bud).

I'm looking forward to PWX. As an old school RPer, a customizable PC wrestling game is what we have all been waiting for, PWX could be our savior

Welcome guys! Nick, nice to have another wrestler around to help out!

Deryl!! We actually were using some of your sound clips in the first playable. Hit me up on email and maybe we can arrange a phone call to sort out getting you in Uprising doing voice overs.

Hello all, I'm Matt " The Evil Genius " ( has nothing to do with Leapin' Lenny Paffo either ) I'm 28, been unemployed since 2 days after Xmas, YAY ! and have had along time on my hands to play my xbox360, Xbox, Ps2 n Wii. Yea these wrestling games weren't cutting it anymore. I found all these pretty cool wrestling leagues on youtube, which these ( just as much time on there hands ) people made there own wrestlers in SVR 2008 and made there own shows ... ok kinda cool but for a week I watched them and got board. I stumbled across some other wrestling games online as well. MDickie.com has a pretty cool game to download too, ( my computer is @ staples getting that damn virus taken out of it again ) thank god for the back up and restore for 120.00 at a time! 200 wrestlers and 6 promotions. expiring contracts, create your character and take him threw the wrestling school, sign a contract with 1 of the organizations, fight for your rights to your own gimmick etc. etc. alot of decent features but the graphics kinda "sucked" ( looks like Attari's Pong compared to what I saw after I googled wrestling games for the PC and stumbled upon PWX. I haven't played it YET!!! But I saw the screen shots, read everything I could find on it and I'm blown away.
Keep up the good work !!!!

a little info on me. well im 23 and from bristol in england and im a big japanese wrestling fan also i LOVE the 80's wrestling too. my favorite wresltlers are Dynamite Kid, the original Tiger Mask (saturo sayama) Owen Hart, Bret Hart, Macho Man, Curt Hennig, Sting, Jake Roberts, The undertaker, Tenzan, Kenta Kobashi, KENTA, Low-Ki and a man who most of yall will flame me for but its Chris Benoit.

um im also in to soccer. and martial arts ooo and im looking for a wrestling school. obviously i LOVE video games. and am really excited about playing PWX!

i know its a bit of a cheesey read but i just want you guys/gals to know a lil about me! :)

    Welcome aboard.

I think most of the flaming for being a Benoit fan has died down. I still haven't been able to watch the Benoit tribute RAW (I recorded it) but I am able to separate Benoit the wrestler from Benoit the broken man who commited attrocious acts. I can't let his personal demons take away from the enjoyment he gave me for many years in his matches.

I think you are the first Brit I have EVER seen refer to the sport as 'soccer' instead of 'football'!

    Welcome, y'all!

Matt, I hope you find work soon! I also appreciate that Dickie's games attempt to offer features that even the WWE games shy away from. I hope Dickie reconsiders his latest retirement threat.

And we have another Dynamite Kid fan in Craig! I was fortunate enough to snag a legitimate dvd series featuring Stampede Wrestling that has a lot of his early work against the Harts. Classic stuff.

    Welcome, guys!

Pssht what the heck ... I'm KRadiation - 27 and i live in the UK

K - my first name initial Kev
'Radiation' from years ago when i used to play Quake 2 on the PS1 - (Story time... the multiplayer split screen mode maps had areas of 'radiation' and if you walked into it and died the message would come up "Radiation has killed ....XXXX' - so cheekily i put that in as my name one day, my brother walked into some radiation died and then read the message and started saying 'ahh crap Kev's killed me!' - i played that game for so long with my brothers and mates that when i went onto other games that name just stuck with me. I use the K as well because 99 times out of 100 someone has registered 'Radiation' when i attempt to (although i NEVER see those users online and searching for them never finds any results)

Wrestling fan ever since i accidentally stumbled across The Hart Foundation against The Nasty Boyz on tv while i was ill from school - the match ended .. from memory... when Jimmy Hart threw a bike helmet into the ring and one of the nasties clocked one of the hart foundation and won --- i hated it, the crowd on tv hated it, the unconscious hart hated it ... and i've been hooked ever since.

Drifted away from watching it on tv just before the time that hogan joined wcw (although we never had any wcw on tv in the uk at the time so even if i had cared i couldn't have seen it) - i ended up missing a lot of huge moments in wrestling as well. Owen Hart, Bret/HBK screw job, nWo forming, the wcw/wwf wars, early DX stuff. I still watched the royal rumble and wrestlemanias on tv (they were free on sky sports back then) but didnt follow it weekly so half the time i had no idea why A was fighting B.

Got back into it all one weekend when i saw HHH reform DX by bringing out x-pac who i last remember seeing as the 123 kid. I watched the rest of the show for a 'I wonder who else is still around and has changed?' and ended up watching every week until a few weeks ago. WWE was becoming quite repetitive and predictable anyway, but the main reason was me and my GF moved into our own place in January and i couldn't really see the point in paying for the sports channels just to watch WWE so i didn't and haven't really missed it.

I do catch TNA Impact and their PPVs on Bravo in the uk and with the 'gimmicks and gimmick matches for everyone!' aside it's enjoyable.

Spend most of my days now talking about wrestling and games on the Wrestling Kingdom
    http://jpdean.proboards38.com/index.cgi?

And also running the behind the scenes with RWD in the 'UWF Roleplay Federation' which is on the above site and we have our shows uploaded onto Dailymotion

    Examples
Our first PPV - Opening Video and a match
    http://www.dailymotion.com/u_w_f/video/x4pz5a_opening-video-and-bushwhackers-vs-t_videogames
PPV Main Event - Hogan vs HBK
    http://www.dailymotion.com/u_w_f/video/x4q7qh_the-main-event-hogan-hbk_videogames

PWX is something that excites us a lot and i really can't wait for the day when i can load the game up and see our UWF roster wrestling in a UWF ring and we upload our first show.

    Happy to be here

PS - Are you still taking paypal money for this game - i never did get a chance to send you any money just before Christmas due to moving house and being without the net for ages

    Hey everyone,

I ran across this project recently while browsing the net and would like to volunteer my services, if needed. I am very familiar with the wrestling business and have worked on and off again as a creative consultant and columnist for a couple of independents over the years after it became apparent that my health would not allow me to pursue a career inside of the ring. My specialty is character development and I've been known to come up with some pretty solid gimmick matches. In other words, if your looking for a cool gimmick to get a specific wrestler or match over, I'm sure I can come up with something. - I'm also a pretty mean artist. Wrestling logos and championship belts are also a specialty of mine. While I stink at making graphics on a computer, a can tear a sketch pad and pencil with up with some pretty decent designs.

I'm Dustin! Glad to be apart of this forum, I've been waiting for somthing dealing with wrestling online for a quite while. If those of you remember there use to be a WWF game called with authority by THQ which was stopped in 2003, so getting back into a wrestling game online that isn't some weird and unbalenced console game was a dream. Now that I see this, looks to me I get to stay up all day and night again. Hope to see this game out in the future! Thanx PWX for starting somthing new that we all can enjoy!

My name is M-a-v-e-r-i-c, GFX Moderator of OWWForums.com, the official forums of Online World of Wrestling.com ran by Brad Dykens. I normally sent in my answers to the weekly questions via e-mail through my G-mail account but since you're doing them here now, I figure I can make my opinions public.

I'm currently getting into radio at my college and would love to see if PWX has or would make a radio commercial to use for promotion. My current show is called the Limit Break and we're going into our second show on Monday.

I'm looking forward to seeing some international gaming trends on here!

We would love to produce a radio ad but we don't really have the funds to purchase ad spots. What would you suggest?

I have been watching PWX since it started to get noticed. 2007 was a big disappointment for me, I was very excited for this game, so hopefully you guys will finish soon.
