Welcome to Wrestling Gamers United Newsletter #374
1) Summer of Love 2) Father of Fire Pro speaks 3) Worst Masked Wrestlers
1) Summer of Love ****************** Keep your fingers crossed for us because if all goes well it's going to be a great summer for the PWX universe. Our mondo tax credit application is in the hands of the government and we're told to expect news in two to four weeks now. News in the form of a FAT ASS CHEQUE! Sorry, hard to not get excited.
Our side project is also coming along nicely. It's still in stealth mode for the most part but we have been telling a few people the details in order to gain support (and funding) for it. So far we've got letters of support from people such as the former Premiere of Alberta as well as a few people who wrestled in Alberta. You might know one or two of them. It's shaping up to be a popular project if we can get it off the ground. We're even expecting a letter of support from an American wrestling promoter who is somewhat well known.
Either way, it's nice to have not one but TWO things to look forward to. I want to be really busy this summer and I don't mean busy staring at the walls.
2) Father of Fire Pro speaks ******************************* This little gem of an interview went largely unnoticed because it didn't appear on any wrestling sites but if you are a Fire Pro fan I thought you might want to check it out. Goichi Suda is considered by many to be an integral part of the Fire Pro legacy and if anyone has any insight into the future of the franchise it's probably him. Be warned though, if you're a WWE hating import gamer you might not like some of what he has to say here:
