    So I had a thought.

Suppose you have venues in multiple countries. I think it would be neat to capture the atmosphere of each country in relation to wrestling.

That is suppose you are in Japan. You could have streamers fly into the ring at the beginning ala that one Japanese game.

When in North America you can have our usual way of doing things and likewise for Mexico. It would add variety to the game and be neat.

I'd like to think that sort of thing would be included eventually.
However, different countries and federations had notably different sizes of ring: Japanese squared circles look huge, whereas the ones in the old UK promotions seem comparatively tiny. For optimal authenticity, I'd like to hope the gameplay mechanics can cope with different ring sizes.

Is different ring size something you think most people would want? Because we can certainly do it if there is enough interest.

Yep, do it. Ask rockstar it's the little details that count

Different sized rings would be cool. Even 4 rope rings would be cool. More features, especially ones that are easy to do, is where you guys can beat the big boys. Little things + Awesome game play trumps one big innovation from the big guys in value creation.

    What I mean is.

You guys create more value with more little features then wasting time on something you might mess up or just not do well. Any time you have the chance to introduce some sort of variety or feature, I say do it.

    Hell pre match options are great;

    - Ring Size
    - Ring Rope Colour
    - Ring Rope Type (i.e. WCW vs WWF)
    - # of Ropes
    - Ring Shape
    - Floor Mats (Y/N)
    - Floor Mats Colour

So many little options that would add to the overall experience. And then a way to save multiple preferneces so we don't need to set it each time.

    So yeah.

Don't forget the turnbuckles. The choice between individual turbuckle covers or a large single cover covering all three rope intersections, along with the ability to colour and texture them (allowing for NWA-style red/blue corner designation) would be a nice addition.

On that note, here are some other things to consider for customisation:
    - The style of the barricades around the ring (including the option to omit them entirely)
    - The ring steps (whether they are located along the sides of the ring or at the corners)
    - The entrance ramp
    - The style of lighting rig
    - The behaviour of the crowd (viz. Whether they carry signs, applaud on rope breaks, make much noise during earlier stages of the match etc)

Yea I would love to see venues in Japan, Mexico, NA, Europe etc. to capture how fans in those countries actually do react
  1.
It'd also be nice to have different reactions based on hometown vs. location (e.g. a heel Bret Hart would still get cheered wildly in Canada).

I think a lot of these ideas would be great long-term, but are perhaps ambitious in the initial releases of the game. Initially, more arenas is always nice. They can be expanded upon in later releases. It would also be nice if an arena had a big logo area of some sort that could be modded with a user's personal image(s).

I think what we'd be wisest to pursue is adding all such variables to the gym venue we built. It's prime for that kind of thing.
