After wondering around on the forum and 3ds I started to get a few ideas about implementing physics on objects and using ragdolls since I dont look like the only one. what came out of it is
-during a move animation ; it can for sure seems great to see a guy get the big brainbuster on a chair and bounce on it but the animation got to end a certain way to make every moves connected. "the guy should be lying on the mat instead beeing stuffed trough a steel chair before disappearing from it". I cant say there is a cheap engine that will help solving that problem
- Very little of that used mostly because a wrestler is supposed to know how to take a stunt and not act like a dead body.
- on objects - I've been trough the MDickie games and rather enjoyed the use of objects and weapons reacting on wrestler's fall. It still have its own weaknesses since theres one animation and if an object like a table dont get broken flat..." well its gonna go right trough you :)". but you can do the best animating you want wich is to be kept for other objects. "A glass object always end up flat somehow "
"About tables": sure they can also be implemented with physics. The most important problem is that the breaking parts could fly off anywere if there isnt a security area of some sort between them and the wrestlers on the ground. and were the broken part can fit, I cant say I tried that yet it sound like something that I just tought of. later then..
" You would'nt want to get your opponent in a powerbomb and the table breaking because you touched it either " + I hope to get a better result with a decent weight on them to . " I'm not done with this I just dont know how to make games, I just happen to enjoy doing a bit sometimes .
so. getting a fully animated move on a physical object can be worth figuring out " but tables will be harder to do than a light bulb.
So what is there to learn .? either you have euphoria on your back pocket and ask them to figure it out Or well.. ----------- factuality After about a 5 min conversation with one of my favourite opponents I came to realize that he had a lot of knowledge about the part of game making that I cant really understand even to save my life, programming, codes and all that stuff. So we got fresh start and decided to make a wrestling game made 100% by wrestlers . The goal is simply the pleasure of it, beeing in it and having some stress/fun times. As the first real project in that sence, I have a found good opportunity to use a smooth and partially physics animation even if were going to use 2d characters as a start. My personnal goal isn't to make a fpr emule out of it just making a game for our co-wrestlers and eventually, depending on the succes, an alternative project for me and some wrestling fans that arent really pleased with the games there is when it comes to deathmatch styles I sure want more of that ^^. yeah "free" I only care if the result can help here by bringing the wrestler point of view.
We made the (I hope) wise choice to avoid physics almost entirely for Uprising. We just had way to o many other important elements to get right before moving on to deep physics. However, we did cave in one respect and that was with the ring ropes. They respond and react as players collide with them in real time. Even the recoil is real time physics and not a canned animation. What we learned from working with the ropes we can now put to use in other areas.
Sure, To make a good game I agree to be wise. I cant say I had many advances with this but a bunch of fun clips. Maybe just a self made mpire mod for now it seems to be possible and avoid collision I just need the "100% working confirmation" I'm glad to read that time was put to good use, since reactor ropes are a good advance them selves. Its true that it was epic, just thinking of the great names that were in, great sasuke and hayabusa Inspired me a lot when I started, I would'nt do stuff with explosives my self thats for sure. I just got a table match cancelled so I dont have luck getting this kind of thrill right now, still since there is only wwe on tv, we brought pwg home. evans couldnt make it but super dragon seemed pretty pissed-off :) Human tornado stomping the first row in the end of a tope senton." yeah they never learn to get out of the way I learned that a fun way" . well good memories ;)
Yeah I started out recently and done a bunch of matches since then. It got interesting by finding mates that wouldnt leave the ring without having a few dives. I cant say I'm jack evans, but for now 450 sound good for the fans ;) I would have to say its a great experience as a fan, no matter what style, suits you fine.

Wrestle Kingdom 2 can be a lot of fun especially if you liked the DoR games. If you can even get your hands on a PS2 version I think you'd be impressed. I especially enjoyed some of the smaller venues they designed for that game.
well if I can get some time to grab a hold of a 360 thats supposed to be mine and risk my life to pull it out of that creepy wisky bottles filled place "mostly mines tough", lived in by 3 crazy wrestlers welcoming me everyday with glass shooting staple guns . but thats a time spending place of mine and be slaping my face for not getting a chance to play a good puroresu game, so yeah Thnx for the advice. that would be the needed break before realising that I should forget a bout redoing so many moves and skip right up to table breaking Haaa! cya all, whatever comes out of it will be free anyway, if worth anything I mean :) Aspw is also one game that impressed me about animations. Never tryed it ounce TT, I'm not bad fiding a way without having a ps2 but damn. How long have I been thinking this one up ? My computer couldnt keep up at all. thats wasn't making much of a public argument, I am working on my 3ds physics to see how it could work in a game. not a lot of updates I have a match soon. cant be there for everything, until its done and with few injuries prefered
