OK... so here's the BIGGER news. We're the largest Fire Pro community in the world. Period.
Spike and GHM realize this. They want our input, and I've been chosen as the represenative.
This forum is for everyone to post their wish lists and desires for FIRE PRO WRESLTING HD.
I have a week to pick out the 10 best ideas (or most requested) and send them to my contacts at GHM and S-Neo. Make sure you understand what is already confirmed so you don't go requesting stuff that you don't need to. If you make a stupid request, I may be forced to skip your entire post. I don't have time to waste on ridiculous ideas. This shit is SERIOUS.

    Let's get to work.

Well I kinda feel like a dumbass now. I had heard about Fire Pro coming to the 360 Live Arcade months ago but I shrugged it off as an unlikely rumor. Maybe I'm more powerful and omnipotent than I previously thought. Exxxxcellent.

So all I want to know now is if there will be a release outside of Japan. I understand its relatively easy to get Japanese PSN stuff but not no way am I ready to buy a PS3 for a graphical upgrade and online ability to a game I've already played to death. Ok, I probably will. Color me a Fire Pro nerd at heart.

This 20th Anniversary Collection would be sweet to have if only for the Blazing Tornado redux. (Roms 4 Life)

I guess the big question is about the two unannounced match types. A Fire Pro ladder match would be worth the hassle and $$$.

yeah. altho there is some doubt now, the date 7 days after they take the questions is april 1st.... so this may just be a ruse

    Nevermind.

So you can't buy the game on a disc like Fire Pro R right?

Sorry i don't know much about Xbox Live etc...

It will be a download only. And it is pretty simple to sign up for a JPN XBL (X-Box Live, RWA.) silver (free) account. You'll then have to transfer Yen to the account and then you can download it. Since it has an option to change everything into English, it all be good.

It is VERY unlikely to be released in the U.S. due to much more stringent copyright laws in North America, so that would be the way to go about getting it.

As the time draws nearer I'll be sure to post how to get Yen and the stop by step instructions for setting up a JPN account.

Monitor... that last sentence made me cry with joy. Because I want this game so badly and I have no idea what to do to get it.

@ Ichr788: The post was actually copied from the Fire Pro Club. PWX isn't actually connected enough to get these contributions sent. Post them on the FPC board.

Yeah I'm not in the loop as far as getting contributions sent in. I heard about a 360 Fire Pro game last year but it was from a publishing agent, not the publisher itself.

No problem action. This is my usual routine when a new SPIKE wrestling game is going to be released. Firepro or King of Colleseum I'm usually in the know and answer most of the questions that arise from having to import. From what I can tell so far this is going to be the LEAST complicated import to get and use EVER.

Heck I believe Dave said the first he ever heard of me was my site for Firepro D, that is now long gone.

I've never minded passing on information/helping people get to play the games. Unfortunately not all the old vets are as nice about answering the same question however many times it gets asked.

ah, it was a hoax, I don't post at FPC but just reading what they say they seem pretty insane (and I post over at No Mutants Allowed, so they seem more insane than even die hard fallout fans lol), whats with that kinda attitude there? Everyone calling everyone who hasnt been around noobs.... Hell I modded my saturn back in the day with a toggle switch to play 6mans, does that give me clout to call people noobs since im sure some of the more hostile people over there were filling their diapers back then.... ah well sorry got off on a tangent... still though shitty joke, even more of a cowardly way to pawn it off as some noble thing, when it reality it was just a april fools joke that got so huge his balls dropped off...

Yeah. I don't really know what to make of any of it. Instead of getting people to talk about Fire Pro all that's been accomplished is making people talk about a LIE about Fire Pro. The community is now divided and angry. This helps Fire Pro how?

Ya know....I had a hell of a last few days....drove from N. Arkansas to Minnesota, packed up someone the next day, and drove back on the third day....

So I missed the announcement that it was a 'Hoax'

I just have no idea how I am feeling about things at this point.

Well...I'm not in the 'Kill Sonnybone' camp for doing this whole thing, but I'm feeling pretty foolish for taking his words at face value.

It's disappointing that no game is going to be made, but it just means I don't have to get hyped up for a game and go into 'Answer Man' mode....I can just fade back into the background once again.

I imagine the way he's feeling right now is punishment enough. I'm certainly no stranger to making poor decisions and executing them even more poorly ;)

According to many of the longer-term members of the FPC, SonnyBone simply feigned remorse, and is still deriving much lulz to this day from getting one over on even "in-the-know" guys like OrochiGeese.

Well...Sonny is not really as remorseful as some of his topics may have sounded (I haven't bothered to read everything at both the FPC and ZOMG)

He also didn't do it ALL on his own, but did seek some peoples advise before putting the whole thing into motion.

Ok so it was just a joke attempt then and not a sincere attempt to lobby for a new Fire Pro. I think that's a half truth. And if there was really so much love for Fire Pro and it's community then why take your ball and go home crying when people have the nerve to see it as anything but a brilliant hoax?

It seems to me that the reaction was not what was intended. People got upset. The mastermind(s) then got snarky because people got upset and they didn't know how to handle the rising disrespect. So you can either get all defensive and call those people idiots and alienate them or you can do the right thing for the community and Fire Pro, own your responsibility, and make a sincere effort to make things right.

But I guess that's just not the cool thing to do anymore.
