With TNA 2 supposedly coming out, and it being rushed, my expectations are pretty low. I created a list of things to make TNA 2 better. Most of them are pretty basic, some aren't. I got an automated letter from TNA pretty much saying they don't like people trying to give them storyline ideas or anything really. My Midway email status is closed. It's been almost a week since I've emailed them.

Here is a list of the things that myself and others really would like to see in it. It's a big list, and these are just my opinions. Not to mention the other people who posted in the same thread, who also have good ideas.

    1: More ground grapples
    2: Back grapples
3: More submissions. Front and back
    4: More front grapple moves
5: Allow you to put people on your shoulders, and then do moves. IE Doomsday device, or a hurricanrana/crossbody, ect.
    6: More double team moves
7: I like the idea of going to japan to train
8: Better crowd reactions. Heels get boo'd, Faces get cheered
9: Triple team moves, even in triple threat matches
10: 4 person moves, even in four way dances
    11: More weapons
    12: More match types
13: Instead of the "match these buttons" for submissions, why not "move the left stick where the red light is".
    14: Better animations
15: Better person-move detection. If I have aj in a suplex, and shelly springboard cross bodies aj it should land on him not me
16: A botch mode. If you do a move wrong, or a dangerous move/high risk, it could hurt your wrestler
17: A mode like franchise mode. This is where Botch Mode would come in. Turn it on or off
18: If you fall off of the ladder and land on the ropes, you should land on the ropes, not the canvas or outside the ring
19: Ties into botch mode. If you do a move near the ropes, the according body part hits the ropes.
20: A lot more reversal animations. IMO those were one of the great things about this game.
    21: Knock outs
22: TNA legands. Shane Douglas, Ken Shamrock, Chris Candido, ect.
    23: Taunts for individual wrestlers
    24: More CAW moves/clothes/ect. A LOT MORE!!!
25: More attire options for in game wrestlers
26: Better kick out system. IMO the triggers would work better
27: Better online play. I've always said "if halo 3 is that huge + can have 16, why do wrestling games lag soo much? with only 4 players and one arena."
28: When the other person is getting up (the time where you can't hit them) instead of doing a ground strike you should be doing a standing. It annoys the crap out of me
29: Exhibition matches also count for Franchise mode. They're considered House shows. Helps win/loss record, and continues fueds
30: Titles should be able to change hands in Exhibition/House show mode
31: Get rid of the dumb camera angle for Tag Team matches. Only use it when a partner gets in the ring or outside the ring
32: Wear belts to the ring. Single mode, and Tag team mode
    33: Tag Team entrances

heres my idea on how a new grapple system should be. Just like Smackdown 07, how you had the strong mod button + Up, Down, Left, Right, or no direction (strong button + grapple by itself) to start the initiate grapple mode, ie power, lucha, ect. But what if you did this...

Strong button + up + grapple would give you the 'Power' moves. Then you'd be in tie up mode. BUT, you could either let go of the strong button or keep holding onto it. So, you could actually have 10 moves per move section. With a total of 50 grapple moves for the front, and another 50 for the back. Plus 5 light grapples, front and back. 110 total.

Ground moves, High flying moves, when a wrestler is running at you, Running moves ect. would have 10 moves per section. They're under-using the strong modifier imo.

Here is a video I made about some more stuff about TNA Impact! and TNA 2.

LOL. You sound like me. I have emailed THQ/Yukes several times and have been trying to get them to put Demolition`s tag finisher "The Decapitation" (backbreaker hold, diving elbow drop combination) for over 3 years now and all I get is a generic, automated response and or a lie. With Smackdown v.s. Raw 2009 being about tag team explosion you`d have thought they would have had the Decapitation in, better yet they didn`t even put in DX`s tag team finisher "Sweet Chin Music Into Pedigree". Good luck!

SAD. I'm very sorry men. It tells you how much these companies value our input. I don't think they value it at all. As long as they make their $$$dough$$$ it's all good & dandy.

I feel ya Ichr. It's like they forget who helped them get where they are. With no buyers, there would be no money coming in. I think of most games as an investment. My money should go toward bettering a product that myself and others want and would enjoy.

You're exactly right RoadWarrior. As long as they get money out of it, they don't care. It's like they live in their own little one way bubble. They can toss stuff out, but the only thing that can make it in the bubble is cash.

Midway is circling the drain though. They're much more worried about their survival and mortgage payments than anything else.
