  1.
I created this faq in order to provide more detailed info to the people interested in PWX that might need it. I have gathered this information from different forums about PWX throughout the years. This part of the faq deals with the CAW:

    1. How customizable will the AI be with in the game and for CAWs? Will it be like Fire Pro Returns, or not as in depth for the first release?"

Bill and Sar pretty much confirmed that the ability to crack open the AI and gut it out to FPR-like levels is a lock for the first game. It's pretty simple stuff, actually; just setting up an interface where the AI values and code are visible to the player, and modifiable accordingly.

    2. Will I be able to import my own logos and pictures to put on a shirt or or trunks?

    Most definitely.

    3. "Will we be able to use our own music for entrances?"

    Yes

    4. Can we rename a SPECIFIC wrestlers finisher."

Yes, you should be able to. Much like you can in Fire Pro.

    5. How are you approaching the attire count? That is to say will it be like No Mercy where you are given four slots for different attires (Mine being normal, street fight, special ref, and backstage/casual), the Raw 2 way of Match Attire and Backstage, or maybe just one attire for everything?

The base attire count is only limited by hard drive space, really. The system is similar to No Mercy where you've got a selection of standard attires for the same character, save for the fact that the player selects which ones are used for which situation. Say you've got twelve versions of Edge, six of which are his "classic" look with the trenchcoat and sunglasses, four of which are variations of the Rated R Superstar backstage attire, and two referee outfits. You'd choose which ones are applicable to which situation, or randomize it so he might come out to any one of the above.

    6. For caws will we be able to use 2d skin files?

Yeah. But whether or not this will be something supported directly out of the game itself isn't clear yet. The base goal is for application of textures to base tights and other attire elements, rather than the expectation that players will have any idea how to custom-map entire bodies. Worst case scenario, it'll be left to the hacks community to fill in the gaps. I give them all of twenty minutes before they've got it figured out.

    7. Will we be able to warp 3d wire to give them horns, sking piercings, to make umpa lumpa pants etc...?

"Will we" in the sense that someone will inevitably figure it out, and create an effective community mod that allows people to put cardboard boxes and such on the heads of their CAWs? Undoubtedly. The PC mod culture hasn't met an engine it couldn't turn inside-out yet, and I doubt PWX will be any different.
Now, "will we" in the sense that the WGU will have tools and support aspects for doing this? Very doubtful. Putting twelve-foot bat wings on your CAW has some serious performance reprecussions, and offering mod capabilities that will plausibly crash the game or make it unplayable isn't something that we could do for reasons of conscience and legality.

    8. Will we be able to import our own logos & pictures to put on shirts & trunks?

    Most definitely

    9. "Music in the game. Will there be an import MP3 option ala GTA? I think that would be a great feature. Could have Sandman come out with some good Mod Work to Enter Sandman and all the other guys we could create in the community."

Yeah, but we'll be using .ogg for cheapie licensing purposes. Nickle here, nickle there.

    10. How many moves will be available in caw?

I should mention that pretty much everything in Cube's archive has been considered or WILL be included in the move listing. We've already cracked a thousand animations for the CAW side of things, so I'd put the estimation for moves (Counting strikes, aerials, grapples, submissions, everything) as being at least as much. I seem to recall Dave throwing out "2000" as the focus on a good day, but we won't know when to stop until someone else tells us.

    11. Will we be able to use our own music for entrances?
    Yes

    12. Will their be a Create A Pay Per View (Wrestlemania, Starrcade etc...)
    Yes

    13. Will their be all the appropriate facepaints, haircuts, spiked shoulder pads, pants, boots, & all other gears to make the Road Warriors, Demolition & Powers of Pain?

Don't know about the facepaint, specifically. But it shouldn't be too hard to import.
