1) We interrupt this program ****************************
Ok, not so fast. That wrestling tv show I mentioned last week that we are supposed to do a game for gave me some grant information to look over. Free money, can't go wrong, right? I'm not so sure. Turns out the grant is being managed by an agency that we've dealt with in the past and I'm not exactly doing back flips over the idea of dealing with them again anytime soon. What I'm most likely going to do is let the television production company apply for the grant directly and administer the funds to us rather than have us have any direct involvement with the fund administration. I'd rather give up control of the grant money than run to the bathroom with dry heaves again (true story).
Lesson learned. Not making that mistake again.
2) We now return to your regularly scheduled program *******************************************************
But it's not all so bad. The same production company is in Paris right now pitching a documentary series based on PWX at MIPCOM (http://www.mipcom.com). Apparently MIPCOM is a big conference where all the television broadcasters and distributors from around the world get together to buy tv shows. Will any of them be interested in a PWX soap drama? I dunno. Hmmmm maybe if we can get an available wrestling celebrity attached.

I was just going through clips of various moves in Uprising. Feast your eyes on the Full Nelson Driver:

4) Question of the Week *************************
I've seen a few online web shows featuring behind the scenes game development but they never really worked well. How much excitement can you really relay filming a few guys huddled around a whiteboard? Almost anything Darrell says can't be broadcast publicly anyway so what does that leave us?
If you were to watch a PWX documentary what would you like to see? What would hold your interest?
