    WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW – NEW GAME ANNOUNCED!

    Multiplayer WWE game coming to PC...

    Announced today, WWE® SmackDown® vs. Raw® Online is currently in development at Vertigo Games. Planned to release on PC across Asia in late 2010, this will give players the complete immersive online experience based on the world of WWE.

    Players will be able to become their favourite Superstar in a virtual world, competing for virtual wealth and fame to get the ultimate ranking in the Hall of Fame. As they earn points players will unlock special features, items and level up their rankings.

    There will also be plenty of items, abilities and themes allowing players to personalize their Superstar. Players will also be able to enter the lobby to challenge opponents, shop or interact with other connected players. This is the ultimate online wrestling experience!

    So is this good news for PWX or bad news?

    I say good simply because I think this could re-enforce the (funding) point that there is a market for PC wrestling games. THQ seems to think so...

    Well its very good news for the wrestling PC market like the man above me said.

    However i'm a little confused. Can you play this game on the PC without going online?

    Or do you have to play online only?
