If they can give us this option then it's GREAT!

A random select option sounds very simple to implement and Im sure has already been Implemented in the game. If they dont have it as an actual button Im sure you will just pick your character and match type and when you get to the match itself, the computer will randomly choose you opponent. Sort of like every fighting game in existence.

Here`s a simple idea with no programming required.........close your eyes move the control stick and press the start button or whatever and randomly select any character manually :)

I really like this idea, it's real simple but sounds fun.

Choose your guy, and the team you'll face, then select "Mystery Partner" (which could be a slot selectable like any character from the Character select screen).

It all progresses business as usual, and the first point in time you realise who your partner is, is when your guy is in the ring.. have a little pause for dramatic effect, the crowd is a buzzing a little.. and then the entrance music hits.

    Sounds great.

That's okay if they don't give us the random button option but i definite prefer a random buttom option, to me it's wayyy cooler than to close your eyes & cycle through a million caws which can take minutes. Let the PC choose in a matter of seconds.

I don't think a simple "random" button (like every fighting game in history) would be a problem, but it would be even cooler if it was presented as a mystery partner like Ace suggested. Maybe in "PWX Ultimate" the AI could calculate based on relationships (past history with your character, heat with your opponents, common enemies) and storylines who would make the most sense as your mystery partner while still providing an element of surprise.

You know what would be really cool? I know Uprising isn't going to have any unlockable wrestlers, but if the final PWX game does, it'd be great to have the "Mystery Wrestler" button have a random chance of unlocking somebody you haven't gotten yet and throwing them into the match (whether that wrestler then stays unlocked, or still has to be unlocked for normal use; either way is fine with me).

That would be cool, never thought of that.

I'd like to see HeartBurn's, Threadkiller and InTheZone's ideas fused together into one.

Can I just add... Only in WGU you're gonna find fans that are so devoted to a small feature, just to make it close to perfect. You guys rock! \oo/!!!Wrestling Gamers United!!! \oo/ This is why I have so much faith in PWX.

Problem could be there, you could just sit there all day selecting 'random wrestlers' until any and all unlockables are.. well, unlocked.

I'd rather that they stay locked, but if a player is going to be that cheap, you can't really stop him anyway. Plus there will probably be easier ways to hack locked characters/items in a PC game.

I don't think unlockables are good when there is a CAW mode btw first post in a REAL thread yay
