I took this off the CAWs Svr09 forum. This new technology is really interesting and that first video is brilliant. Wonder whether it would be a viable option in a wrestling game though.

I mean alot of people complain about things such as Hit Detection, and this is something which would solve that problem.
This is made by a user at YouTube, who is just a fan of wrestling.
Here is another video to explain what Euphoria is. Euphoria and Endorphin are made by NaturalMotion.
And just so you know there is no sound on the second video, just to ensure you that you aren't deaf.

There is sound in this. [/quote]
Man that is seriously awesome-the moves I mean the reactions to the moves look really realistic(most of 'em at least).I like the strcher scene :D AWESOME
Move reactions might be improved- wrestlers would fall to the ground, their knees or the ropes in a flowing, natural way. However, with a sufficient number of selling animations all this expensive technology would never really be necessary.
the euphoria engine really wouldnt work for a wrestling game. Simply because wrestling falls and reactions arent necessarily natural motions. Wrestlers learn how to fall and take hits in certain ways. for an MMA game though that engine would be sweet.

Maybe the engine can learn how to take falls and hits the way wrestlers can (IDK, I'm no game design expert at all). I'm blown away by the videos. And I definitely think the engine can be improved enough to be suitable.
We looked into this and it seems most appropriate for things like KO animations, falls from ladders, etc. But again, we still have basics to master before we get bored and start looking for new things to develop.
Actually I tried it directly with 3ds and it worked on the animation side but its best not to use as much as in endorphin for a wrestling game, because a ragdoll cant take a move to begin with " And it wont be connected with the next move unless you help it. So I dont think this will work great this soon. I'll come back then.
