Are there any background stories for the PWX characters? Anything you guys have planned for the PWX roster storywise? I'd like to know more about the wrestlers besides their name and attire.

Great question. We're putting together a special Uprising website and character bios are indeed part of the planned content.

I think this would be a good way to go, especially since the initial Uprising game will only have custom characters through modding. We need to get to know/care about the in-game characters, and as always, any PWX update is a good update.

Keep up the slogging away at hard work Dave, it might not be pretty to watch as a fan - seeing no updates - but it's necessary, and somebody has to wear the burden of putting business and the future of PWX as the first priority, and throwing tons of content at fans second. It's a wonder you still do the weekly newsletter in my opinion, so I don't think it's that shocking to have few updates. I'm still somewhat amazed at the idea of your team being so approachable and 'in the crowd,' as you make a game. It's great to know we can all chuck ideas at you without red tape, a generated email "thanking us for our concerns," etc.

Bottom line is, whether or not you 'need' to hear it, there are many PWX fans/wrestling game fans out there who haven't stopped supporting, even through forced silences, a drying up in content or occasional bad news. You guys still rock.

Hey it's all good. As long as those who care enough to keep paying attention understand why things are the way they are then we're happy. Some people quit whenever things don't go their way or they are faced with a bit of public negativity.

I'm not one of those people.

One thing - games in development with fans means good publicity. When they come out it will have even more fans and the old fans will bring more fans and more fans and more fans. You don't need heavy advertisement, we will do it for you...
