It looks like EA is trying something cool, if you play any of the 09 edition sports games and log on to the website posted above it actually keeps track of how many games you have played and the scores. In NCAA Football 09 you can record your favorite plays from any game and unload them onto the website. Other people can view the plays and rate them on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. I think this would be a great feature for a wrestling game. But instead of uploading a few seconds of the game we could upload entire matches and let other people grade them. What do you guys think?
It would be better if the game came with a record feature because most casual players may not know where to get stuff like snaggit. Maybe if the game came with a record/save replay feature then there could be a create an entrance video feature.
While its kind of cool, game companies have been doing this for years, at least as long as online gaming has been going on. I remember when I used to check the UT site for my standings back in '99. Also most games using 360 or PS3 have some sort of tracking for you, this is just a matter of EA catching up to the curve, as always.
I'd say this is doable, if not somewhat easy, if the game has online play. Hell, I don't think this is worth requesting as I expect this.
So what if you won't use the feature? A lot of other people will. I know for a fact that if PWX ends up being able to put on Fire-Pro-like matches of quality between two CPU opponents, it'll end up being used A LOT by e-fedders for their matches.
In the same kind of vain, I'd like to have an online spectator mode. I know this has been discussed, but then even be able to cheer/boo, possibly affecting special meters, ratings, etc.

A recording option would just come from that.[/quote]
I absolutely love that idea. Just need to say again, I can't stress enough how unique and revolutionary this would be.
