1) The Final Countdown ********************************
Yet another short newsletter this week but for a good reason. We finally seem to have struggled loose from the stranglehold we've been in for the last few months and it's been a lot of back and forth meetings and such since Wednesday. Today in particular seems to be the day we finally get to sign off on the Worst Contract Ever. Once I sign that puppy we can officially move forward with the release of Uprising again. So I gotta run now for the contract signing. Cheers!
...hmmmm wrestling related contract signings never end well, do they?
2) Link of the Week ********************
Midway announced this week that they were closing the studio responsible for the TNA Impact game. TNA fans shouldn't panic though as it appears the Impact team is simply being moved into another existing Midway studio to complete the game.
Be careful Dave. You never know, MDickie might bash you over the head with a chair and sign the contract with his name on it and get the distribution deal.
Yup I know a few people who have subscribed but can't access their emails from work but can read this site so they always check the newsletter here on a friday

How can you not access your email at work but go to an internet message board instead?
From what I've gathered they have stuff that blocks websites so staff aren't tossing around all day - some sites still work but most don't... this is one that works for them i guess.
Sorry for the radio silence this week guys. It's easily been one of the scariest since production began but I'm happy to report it turned out well although it came right down to the last minute this morning. I'll talk about it more in the newsletter I'm now sitting down to write...

Early release?! For a game that's been "in development" for like six years I think we're wayyyy past the point of an early release ;-) We're shooting for late summer if all goes well. Fingers crossed, pray to Bruiser Brody, Power of Now, yadda yadda yadda...
