    1) All Quiet
    ********************************

Nothing too fun to report this week. It's been a week of renovating the studio and chasing money owed. I really need to thank the crew for putting up with the stuff they have to. Seems like a never ending stream of new documents for them to sign, scan, and email off to investors (one in particular). Just when you think we've done everything we needed to and we're going to get paid in comes another pile of document requests. It wears you down after a while. I swear, when I get around to writing a book about all of this the chapter on funding woes will be the most therapeutic for me to write. I just feel the need to kick, scream, vent, and purge. Can't do it now though. No no, gotta play nice.

Speaking of funding woes, we might get a bit of help in that department. I was contacted by someone representing a local Angel investor who made a lot of money here in the Vancouver video game industry. Apparently he's put aside some of his earnings in a fund to invest in more game companies and we were singled out as a prospect due not only to the fact that we have a game we can show but because of all the fan support we have. Thank you! If it works out for us we'll have you guys to thank yet again.

In other developments, that TV show we've been attached to recently got the green light as I mentioned previously. But it looks like we may not be attached to it after all. Don't feel bad for us though. If plans work out (don't they always?) we may be moving onto something even bigger and better...

    2) Link of the Week
    ********************

Eric sent me this link a few weeks ago that I've been wanting to share with you. It's a short interview with someone who designed costumes for WWE. You might be surprised to hear who he said was the biggest jerk to work with:

    3) Question of the Week
    ************************

I've really enjoyed the discussion over the last few weeks concerning the debated need for pro wrestlers to rely on excessive pain medication and extremely dangerous stunts to make it to the top of the industry.

We've proposed solutions such as a mandatory off-season but I'd like to hear from the rest of you:

If you were to take over WWE what actions would you take to eliminate drug and steroid abuse, dangerous spots, and increase job security while still keeping viewers interested in the product? Can it even be done?

The discussion is taking place here:

In the meantime and in-between time, that's it. Another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.

    Thank you for your support,
