There has been a lot of talk lately regarding a book titled Ring of [Hell] that apparently paints a pretty sick picture of the pro wrestling industry. Have you read it? And even if you haven't have you stopped watching some or all wrestling shows because of what goes on behind the scenes?

p.s. I wanted to pose this question to newsletter readers who may not visit the forums frequently. At the risk of splitting the discussion between topics I'd also like to point everyone to the topic labeled Ring of Hell. And thanks to Spunk for pointing out the book in the first place.

I hadn't heard of this book until it was mentioned by Spunk.

I'm not in any big hurry to read it though, as my own interest in wrestling has been pretty bleak this year (I've only caught a show maybe 3 times all year, including last Monday's RAW...no PPV's. )

I'm going to a little local indy show on the 28th here in Arkanasas (Harrison to be specific)

Maybe it's just because I'm getting older and losing interest in it, maybe it's because there is nothing in the current shows that interests me. I dunno. I don't want to read a book condemning the entire industry though.

It's hard for me to see wrestling gaining my opponents of this book. It's pretty frank, stark, and honest.

The wrestling industry is the only industry where drug use isn't only allowed, but encouraged.
