I read one of Dave's comments and what I understood (hope correctly) is that PWX will be a "wrestling engine" And PWX will be mostly about the modding.Which is good news,because we are finnaly looking at a game that is community friendly,that will actually make the game "ours". I just wanted to share my dream of how this is going to work and I hope i made a friendly suggestion.I hope you all like it and I even hope Dave thought ahead of me and has already planned this. The first time I heard Dave say the stuff about the "Wrestling Engine" I said - WOW.We are looking at a wrestling game template (saying it in a very good way).You have a ring,an arena,a crowd,and wrestlers.We give you the moves - you use whichever ring,attire,crowd,arena and entrance you like.And I thought for a minute - this forum is now a small place with 6-7 people discussing future plans.When this game release,I give you 2 weeks,in which I see a WWE stuff,TNA stuff,RoH stuff,indies stuff,Japan stuff - everything - from backyard wrestling to WWE.But I have a little doubt in that.I think that this is a nice idea,if it works differently from other wrestling games.The problem with these games is that you already have a set roster,set arenas,rings and all that - ready to go.The creators of the game don't expect you to modify anything on the came.They mostly expect you to recreate yourself in the game with some sort of CAW mode.I hope PWX doesn't just put a CAW mode in-game.What I want (hoping not to sound too selfish) is an out-game MOD manager.There you can import and export content you downloaded from somebody.You can set how YOU want the game to look.Like - you want those and those wrestlers - you want this and this ring in-game.I mean - you buy the game with let's say - 30 in-game wrestlers and 5 arenas/rings.You go to the forums,you see somebody has given you a Jonh Cena,an Undertaker,a Triple H and a Chris Benoit tribute ready to download and ready to import and ready to play.You download the wrestlers and you import them.Now you have 34 wrestlers - 30 in-game,and 4 new you just imported.I seriously don't hope we don't get a PWX game,and people just mod over the game - that way now you install the WWE mod made by some guy.Tommorow,some other guy makes a ECW mod and you want to play it.The problem is you are stuck with the first guy's mod.You have to unistall the game to install the ECW mod and play it.Which is really annoying - to reinstall the game 3-4 times just to play what you want.I really hope you just make a game,and let us import stuff in it.That way we all download what we want and play what we want :) Really - it's 2:17 in the morning here in Bulgaria and I have to get up early tomorrow - I am really excited about this game.Just realise how this game affects people in countries like Bulgaria.I have never been up this late to write about something so passionately.In a foreing language.I seriously can't wait to see this game out and when I get my hands on it,I know I'm going to be extremely happy :)
I believe OGG is all that will be accepted due to licencing costs for mp3's. But I would like to see extensive modding. It would be hilarious to see pwx better replicate wwe than wwe.

I enjoy a spirited conspiracy debate as much as the next guy but we gotta keep the racist stuff (even if meant as a joke) off this board. It doesn't do the project any good if a publisher or investor sees that we permit or encourage that.
As for audio so far we're using all OGG in PWX but that would change. The engine relies on Open AL and we're having issues with playback volume on different cards. It would be nice if we could upgrade the audio system to make use of MP3 but for now we're plugging along with OGG.
