I've been playing a lot of cage matches in No Mercy as of late, which is something I never really bothered with before, and was quite pleased with how they were handled. I only wish you could've done Moonsaults and such off the top, but oh well, it's still fun.

That got me wondering, what games in your opinion has the best cage match?

Actually u can do moves of the top in no mercy-elbow drops. But the best cage match is hard to say depends on what u like.HCTP has a pretty good cage matchand an even better hell in a cell one.

You know, I'm going to look nut for saying this but Legends of Wrestling 2 and Showdown actually had pretty good cage mechanics. CHeck them out if you get a chance. Probably find them each for 99 cents.

I have both, and the cage match was improved VASTLY between 2 and 3.
But for some reason, I think the push-pull timing system in SvR07's cage match (set up by a Superplex in the bottom-left corner) was pretty damn cool. Just about the ONLY cool part OF the SmackDown cage match (which was completely broken otherwise), in fact.

That push pull thing is stupied. I think in PWX the wrestler should go slower up the cage on how beaten up they are. I just hate how quickly you can scale up a cage match

Yea, I've come to the conclusion that HCTP has my favorite standard Cage Match.

Yeah but Showdown has moonsaults off the cage wall! Of course, you are also allowed to do moonsaults off the wall from only three feet up so...some room for improvement there.
