I tried to find the latest PWX trailer via YouTube so I searched Pro Wrestling X. It took a while but I found it. Why is it all these other videos of Werra come up first? It makes it look like PWX is some Mod for No Mercy or Smackdownwhen thats the images you see associated with it. I wanted to flag the videos but unfortunutly they don't violate my copyright holdings. Does anyone else find this somewhat ridiculous?
Yes, it is ridiculous. It seems to be the latest rage with a clique of friends to all post the same video and link it to PWX and other crew members. They can be reported by Dave, but there are a LOT of them, and YouTube does not act on them very quickly.
No. No posting links. I wouldn't let them do it to promote their videos, I don't want to do it to start an anti campaign either. If you want to flag them, do a simple search on YouTube, they are impossible to miss.
The more attention we give them here, the more they like it. Trust me, they've decided to spam the hell out of my account on YouTube with this stuff. It's how they get their jollies.
Flagging them as Spamming, having Dave report them for copyright violation is about the only way we can do anything about the videos.
My suggestion is that you do NOT comment on the videos, simply flag them, and move on. I made the mistake of commenting on one just before I became a mod here, and they started spamming the hell out of me.
These jokers could care less if they get an account suspended on YouTube. They simply make a new one. It almost seems like they make 3 or 4 new ones for every one that gets banned. I've blocked approximately 45 accounts all belonging to the same group of guys.
So there is actually truth in the saying 'Don't Feed The Trolls' in this case. It really is the best option.

and you're right, but i still think they should be banned from this forum and dave should also put them in some sort of a wall of shame in the game.
my god, i just checked it, there are tons of them. the same vid uploaded by diff people. it makes me want to shoot this rayn werra or whatever. just take his head off. i think dave should ask they guys at youtube to ban that account, and every vid that uses that name.
The only official PWX videos are the ones linked from the main PWX website under the "PWXDave" YouTube account. There are bogus YouTube accounts floating around using all sorts of nifty variations of my name.
As for banning people from the PWX forum for activities they conduct outside of the forum we already do that. Monitor verifies every new sign up and if he finds out someone acts inappropriately anywhere else on the 'net he has the power to remove them from the PWX forum as well. He's doing a great job so far!
cool, but i really think you take more serious actions against this idiot, he makes pwx look like a bad nm version. maybe even find a way to shame him in the credits of the game or something.
They'd wear a wall of shame, or dig in the credits as a badge of honor. It would justify their pitiful existence.
And while I do keep an eye on things happening all over the net...I won't necessarily whip out the ban stick here for something someone does off-site. I only ban people from here as a last resort. In most cases a simple discussion via e-mail is enough to clear up any problems.
I personally don't care if dratsab and his attention whore buddies spam youtube. No matter how many times they submit those stupid videos, Ryan Werra will never be added in PWX, so that does justice in our part. Watching him do all this spamming just prove people just have too much time on their hands.
But yeah, hopefully this will dim down once youtube gets the videos removed.....again.....and again....and again.

It really wouldn't matter as they use a proxy setting a lot of the time anyway. These guys really have tried to turn their trolling into an art form. Normal measures you take to protect against trolls won't work.

Not even close. Ice Cream Man is a manager slated for when we start including large American WWE-style feds in story mode. He looks like Abdullah the Butcher in a bad suit.
Actually it's a really silly gimmick. We've got a few 'Wrestlecrap' characters slated for appearances in the future and he's just one of them. We'll see, not every character we have designed will make it in because we're always coming up with new ones as well.

What I find funny is that the Ice Cream Man gimmick was from the start seen as a crummy gimmick to be made fun of, and those dudes were pushing so hard for it.
Whats worse is that they don't just stop at spamming PWX stuff, they get their kicks posting porn on forums for abused children, trolling vegans with videos and photos of people slaughtering animals, etc, etc.
