I have a question about the actual ring sides on the floor. Will there be a damage modifier if a move lands not on a mat? Or will floor damage be the same all over the area.
I'd like to be able to pull up the mats outside the ring and have damage & blood modifiers for moves done on the concrete. As far as the 6-sided ring, I remember you saying one of the obstacles was the control scheme for throwing your opponent into 6 sets of ropes and 6 turnbuckles. What about making irish whips into the ropes a quick grapple and irish whips into the turnbuckles a medium grapple? That way you'd only have 6 possible directions for each situation instead of trying to fit all 12 onto the d-pad at once.
Yeah it's the way our direction controls work that make 6-sided rings a tough one. We'd want you to be able to use all ropes and turnbuckles otherwise what's the point of having a six-sided ring if it doesn't interact any differently?

6-sided rings really aren't all the intriguing to me. Honestly, I haven't seen the ring shape really used as anything other than containing the action and restricting run-ins slightly. RoH does a great job without it as do most in the world. All in all, it'd be a cool add on later, but now point now.
