well my question is, will the wrestler be vulnerable at any given moment? like when he's getting up, or midair while in a cross body, cuz in nm there was this one thing that upset me, it was that you can't hit guys if they are getting up.
that would sometimes mean that if you're going for a tb flying move and the guy gets up while you're in the air, you wouldn't hit him.
but if i remember correctly in raw for pc, you could dropkick your opp while he's in the air, doing say a crossbody or a clothesline. then again you could ht your opp while they're doing their special as well so it would f*** some stuff up.
one thing i did like though, was that if you suplexed someone on top of another wrestler they both got hit and damaged.
So far collision is in fact disabled while a wrestler is transitioning, or getting up, from a downed position to a standing position. However, We can easily change that if enough people think the game would play better that way.
Also, you won't be able to knock over a ring full of wrestlers with one suplex, sorry ;-)
Collision is such a fine line to try to walk. I know people want realism, but you can't allow people to break up any move at anytime because then no move will ever get performed. Also, you don't want the AKI type collision where once you go into an animation there's no possible way to break it up. Ideally, I think you want to allow collision where one wrestler is being thrown or slammed onto another person on the ground (because these spots do happen in wrestling and are usually very cool) but you don't want collision between standing wrestlers and wrestlers who are having a move performed on them (like your example of a suplex that knocks everyone in the ring over).
I think a way to balance out the collision of people during a grapple is instead of having it like RAW wear you can break up any grapple at any time with a strike, you should set some sort of "point of no return" variable for each grapple move animation so that a grapple can be broken up all the way until the moment when the move is "at the point of no return". Example: If wrestler A has wrestler B in a grapple and starts performing a vertical suplex, then wrestler C should be able to break up the move with a strike all the way until wrestler B is fully lifted up by wrestler A. This makes sense because in a match, is wrestler C is going to get wrestler B out of the move, it's going to be on the way up, not when wrestler B is on the way down and would probably injure himself.

Thank you God! Nothing is more annoying than being knocked down when you are halfway across the ring!
you should try to make a certain time where you can't get hit, but keep it reasonable, like if you get up, the first few frames you can't hit the guy, but if he's on his knee you can dropkick him and such.
and as for interrupting moves, again, there should be a small window of opportunity like submissions and pins in nm. but also being able to interrupt a finisher should be hard, like only a few frames where he can be hit. that way you'll need to time your attacks just right, like the example i made earlier with the dropkick to a diving opp.
also i didn't like that collision problem in raw as well, but if you can make it that only a downed opp gets damaged by another wrestler falling on him that would be nice.
although certain move can be used with that collision, for example, a military press and you toss the guy on the other 2 guys in a fatal four way.
Yeah, I think there should be a collision window, just like a reversal window. The collision window would start slightly before the reversal window, and end slightly after/before? Use your best judgment on that?
For a singles match where there are only 2 wrestlers you could have the ability to hit people as they are getting up and it could be disabled in matches with more than 2. Or there could be a toggle to enable or disable it altogether in the options.
I think-which is by the way the only think that matters-that you should be able to hit the wrestler as he stands up as he is doen or as he hugs his mum during entrances :D
