OK I'm going to get PWX, It will be my first pc game ever. My question is Can we use the PC controllers for PWX(If so which ones), or do we have to use the keyboard? I'm a noob when it comes to pc games etc. Also I wanted to say thanks to Dave and the crew for making the game etc. well guys that's it for me..thanks

Yes I think you can use any USB gamepad. In fact they have been using the Microsoft 360 USB controllers all the way through development.

No you can't use ANY USB gamepad because the pad has to have enough buttons (including 4 shoulder buttons) to map the control scheme layout.

The Microsoft 360 Controllers (either for the PC or console is perfect...anyone will work) is PERFECT & will work. The crew has been using this one since the beginning when designing PWX.

I asked about using the Nintendo 64 controller 2 years ago and they said it doesn't have enough shoulder buttons.

I specifically went out last month and bought a Wireless adapter and 360 controller for my PC. It was $59.99 at Best Buy. I think the regular wired 360 controllers will work as well, and they are at least $20 cheaper.

Now I have a controller ready for Uprising, as well as one that works well with Project 64. A Nintendo 64 emulator. I've been using it to play VPW2 and No Mercy with mods on my PC.

Nothing wrong at all with the keyboard. I just prefer to have a controller for wrestling type games. Feels more natural for me.

We have universal gamepad support on the list of features to add before we ship. So far only the 360 controller is guaranteed to work.
