1) Pinfall! **************************
Gonna be a short newsletter this week guys. We're getting our asses kicked from ten different directions here. We've got a funding deadline to meet on Dec 15th if we want to receive our final cheque from Telefilm and if we miss the deadline...you don't want to know. Suffice it to say we are working like slaves to get everything done by 10th instead so we can breath easy over the holidays. On the plus side, you'll all be happy to know that one of the requirements for this deadline is that we deliver Uprising complete and playable so we've got plenty of motivation to complete it, believe me. It's Friday afternoon here on the 7th and while everything is working during gameplay we are having some issues with certain characters not loading or not loading properly. Not to mention a few new gameplay bugs were discovered this morning as well. Gonna be a longgggg weekend! But we'll get it done even if we all get heart attacks in the process. So far, only one of us has been to the hospital for stress related heart problems today. Awesome!
But in all the financial and medical drama a pretty major milestone kinda got lost in the shuffle. I actually played a full match and it worked with no bugs. From the start of the match where I chose my character all the way through the strikes, flying moves, weapons, submissions, near falls, to the final pinfall it all worked. The animations, the gameplay, the graphic overlays, the audio, the particle effects, the damage system, it all worked.
Five years later I had a match. Sweet merciful crap I had a match in PWX. It may not have been a five star classic but it was a match and it was fun.
And on that note I've got to get back to a cost report that is the least fun part about making games...
2) Buy Fire Pro Returns ********************************
I don't know about how it is anywhere else but here in Vancouver Fire Pro Returns is just sitting on the shelves. I got mine at an EB Games a few days after they arrived and no one at that store apparently even pre ordered it. I saw it on the shelves again at another EB a few days later. Please buy Fire Pro Returns! Sales of any wrestling game help us get PWX made so please pick it up if you get the chance.

I ordered 3 copies of Fire Pro Returns from Amazon.com. So you bet i supported that game. Hell it was the only video game I bought in 3 years because it worth buying. If it was $60 I would still buy 3 copies.

Well first to support Spike/Agetec. Second as backups. I read the reviews that it was such a great game & the best Fire Pro ever that i had to get 3 copies (2 as backups). I haven't bought a videogame in years. But this one is worth it. Now i am patiently waiting for PWX.
But all the power to you if thats how you wanna spend your money. Personally i'd have taken the 40 and bought some beer or donated it to the march of dimes or something

Well I don't drink so they $40 bucks would have gone to the march of dimes or some worthy charity!
There was a man who bought 5 copies, but I think he was gonna buy them for presents...but still - 5 copies! It was still nice of you to buy at least 3 :)
