JUST so people don't clog the boards up with all these retarded suggestions (and some really good ones), post all your "unique" match suggestions into THIS THREAD, dammit!
I'm always a fan of elimination-style matches, when they don't make the wrestlers look like fools. That and the Royal Rumble style over-the-top-rope matches. Thus, I guess my suggestion would be a Team Royal Rumble. The two captains begin in the ring, and a random wrestler - either from Team A or Team B - will enter after 5 minute intervals. The teams are of 4 each. The only way to end the match is for the Captain to be eliminated. However, there is an obvious advantage in eliminating non-captains, because this can turn the match in a team's favour, by making it easier to eliminate the other captain.
[cite] spudz:[/cite]It can i the Elimination Chamber, and IMO it's better... HIAC is strictly one on one imo
What are you talking about when was HIAC a strictly a 1 on 1 and I already gave my Prison Match idea
Is it too much to ask for a tag. 6 man tag, 8 man tag, and 10 man tag match? How about elimination rules for all of those matches too so you can relive Survivor Series matches (And it'll do for now on a War Games match)
In Mexican Tag rules, if someone is thrown out of the ring their partner can come in and continue the match as if they were tagged in.
It makes for an extremely fast paced match. Throw someone out, dive out onto them, and all of a sudden the two people that were on the apron are now the legal men.

Wow. You know, that explains the lack of tagging in some luchadore/Mexican matches I've seen.. it's all coming together, haha.
I'd like to see as many different types of tournaments as possible. They add variety without having to program crazy gimmicks. I'd also like to be able to recreate Crockett Cup, King of the Ring, and Iron Man/Team tournaments of the past. A couple I thought of that I haven't seen before are Triple Threat or 3-way tournaments, and handicap tournaments. Triple Threat/3-way tournaments would be pretty much the same but the brackets would be different, starting with 9 or 27 wrestlers/teams instead of 4, 8, 16, etc. Handicap tournaments would feature monsters like Andre, Kane, Vader, Yokozuna against teams of 2 jobbers or smaller wrestlers.
Firepro can do the Handicap in tourney. As an FYI, anything up to 4 players per side (So 1 vs 2 or 2 vs 3 or 3 vs 4, etc are possible). I've never seen 3 way or 4 way tourneys before. That would be different.
Even though i know these would be incredibly hard do due to great detail that would to go into the physics but a barb wire match where they replace the ropes with barb wire, scaffold match, or a strap match that would be cool
I would love to see a ECW classic Three Way Dance. Like the elimination ones which could last like 60 mins. Iron Man match or Best 2 out of 3 falls. Also I would like to see a Mexican/Texas Deathmatch where you pin someone then they have a 10 count to respond to and if they don't get up after the 10, then you win
Yeah, the double ring isn't really necessary. I can't even remember any spots coming from that arrangement. And the whole "weather the weak link of your opponent's team down to get them to submit" thing doesn't really translate to video game mechanics.
As with anything it's a matter of priority and the WarGames match is way down on the list. I just didn't see it suggested.
Obviously the easiest types to implement are at the top. 2/3 falls, submission rules, no-dq/hardcore, last man standing/texas deathmatch, over-the-top elimination/catch-as-catch-can, falls count anywhere, iron man, first blood.
Then the ones that'd require a small fundamental change. Cage match, large cage match (Hell in a Cell), barbed-wire ropes, Japanese deathmatch, "I quit", lumberjack, special referee, ladder match, table match, ___ on a pole match.
Then you've got the ones that'd require a large fundamental change that people'd be fine without if there are other things to work on. WarGames, four corner match (touch all corners), casket/stretcher match, scaffold match, mask vs. match, location brawl match, those stupid reverse matches where people have to climb into the cage or get into the ring, strap/bullrope match, those really weird cage matches like the elimination chamber/thundercage, and the blindfold match (ha!).
Then you can work on a barbed-wire ropes, flourescent tube on a pole, mask vs. hair, blindfolded, casket that must be retrieved with a ladder and brought to all four corners following a ten-count, boiler room, electrified steel cage battle royal.
I'd be down with a Texas Bullrope/Russian Chain match.
*Hey maybe we can make it so a third person, not even involved in the match can be dragged around to all 4 corners, so we don't have to job someone else out.

He's referencing a part in Flair's book where that very occurence was mentioned. It's a helpful pair of concepts called "intuition" and "deduction". You're welcome. :)
double cage (cage-in-a-cage, "kennel from hell," punjabi prison, many other names) or even a triple cage (cage in HIAC in elimination chamber, acc to my bro) would be one hell of a match to pull off. i remember i once wrote an iron man double cage match for an e-fed quite a few years ago and it was received quite well.
inner cage has no roof (i think it was wwf classic barred style), outer cage was HIAC w/door on the OPPOSITE side of the inner cage's door. two refs outside the inner cage and two refs outside the outer cage. i was never fond of the "punjabi prison," as it was too specialized and was just plain hokey and too over-the-top gimmicky. didn't like "kennel from hell" cuz the storyline didn't make a lick of sense (c'mon, bossman grinding up al snow's chihuahua into "pepper steak?" <_< ).
