Honestly, Troop is a bit too gimmicky for my tastes - I don't like mixing other occupations with wrestlers.
I have to say, however, I really do like how G-Rush is looking. I think face paint was a good choice. The character models, as has been said, are looking rather nice here too. Well done to the development team.

Well i tell you if he ain't suppose to be a zombie then we got a problem & they should work on him more but if he is supposed to be a zombie then they did pretty damn good. Otherwise Ohhh Ohhh..............
The skin on Troop is a mess. If we could get an explanation as to his character maybe then it'd make sense but based on those screens its a turn off and probably not something you guys should tout on SSS. His hair is also... wtf lol

troop looks like a mess in general. maybe because of the free haircut. if you guys design it slightly like bryan fury from tekken with head tattoos, it would be much better. but just when i thought some existing pwx characters were bad enough, troop is introduced. But hey, good news that theyre made using caw mode, theyll be replaced using caw mode.
[cite] valdik:[/cite]I started to think the gimmick of troop is a almost dead man covered in ashes and a bad haircut cuz of an explosion or something hope I'm right
He's the military version of the Undertaker. IMO he should be given and undead military gimmick, but we shall see.

ok i feel dumb now... the pics are there now not sure what happened before lol . anyway I am really impressed with the clothing texture on Troop. It looks better than any other clothing texture in a wrestling game that i have seen. I'm not going to complain about the way that he looks though because i'm glad they came up with something origional.
Thanks for the compliments! Troop is all Darrell's creation and is meant to to look like he just got out of a dirt hole in a POW camp, went nuts and ripped his hair out, and hasn't seen daylight for months. It's way to the end of the gimmick scale, for sure, but we had a lot of fun with it. The G-Rush face paint design is all Kendall and we love it. Considering the art team is been locked into using low poly models we had done almost four years ago they're doing a great job with them.
I really like both characters so far. I personally LOVE gimmicky characters. I grew up with a lot of the classic extremely gimmicky WWF and WCW wrestlers such as Skinner, Repo Man, the Beserker, IRS, and lots of others. So, I think these characters are great and I hope there will be plenty more. Sure, I also like the traditional wrestlers like Bret Hart, Ricky Steamboat, or Ric Flair. But, these kind of wrestlers need a place too :)

I can't stand gimmicks, probably due to a difference in our times. I started watching in the 2000s, so any gimmicks that were left over from the era before, I found really cheesy and cringeworthy.
Yeah, I can understand that. Gimmicky characters were all but extinct by that time. I started watched around 1986 or somewhere around there, in which those types of characters were everywhere :)
I personally don't like Troop, mainly down to the hair. It looks like there should be a bit of stubble or something over the whole of the head with longer bits coming out. Looks like a bad CAW at the moment to me.

{Cough!} Val Venis, The Godfather and more relevantly, The Truth Commission!
Have you ever seen the type of haircuts you can get 'on the line' in the military?
It's exaggerated, but some of the folks who do haircuts in and for the military deserve to be called a barber about as much as I deserve to be called a physician simply because I can look up things on WebMD.
