Guys I want to ask everyone who is your fauvorite wrestler of all times? No matter the time or the promotion .If u want make a top 10 just please explain why the hell is this wrestler your fauvorite?

My personal fauvorites are from the attitude era but I'm a child of comercial so no wories
1.Stone Cold Steve Austin cause of his attitude in and out of the ring
    2.HBK...well I mean he's a great performer
3.Chris Jericho- great athlete and his character was great hope he gets himself up and wrestling soon
4.The Undertaker-well he's been stuck with WWE for about 20 years no matter what I respect that
    5.Kurt Angle-athlete man
    6. Triple H-he's a hard worker
    7.Rhyno-I love the gore's impact
    8.Samoa Joe- cause he's pretty fast for a fat guy =}
9Sharkboy a NJPW guy I like him cause he's small and funny
    10. The rock-I know he's last but I'm kinda offended that he left wrestling

I know I missed some but u can add them in your answers.

    Hmmm.

Top Ten eh? I'll give it a go.

    1. Arn Anderson - everytime he got in the ring it was believable. His promos were terrific as well. I miss ole Double A.

    2. Barry Windham - From his first stint in the WWF, teaming with Mike Rotundo at Wrestlemania, to his blowing the roof off against Ric Flair in singles matches, to his incredible turn by joining the 4 Horsemen (My favorite turn of all time) Windham was just fun as hell to watch.

    3. Chris Jericho - Fun as hell to watch.

    4. Midnight Express (More Eaton and Lane than Eatron and Condrey) If I had to choose one person from this team it would be Bobby Eaton who was always a good hand...but he was MAGIC with Cornette and Lane as the Midnight Express.

    5. Bret Hart - The best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be...well..maybe not...but pretty damn close. At a time when I could barely stand to watch WWF, he was one I enjoyed.

    6. Shawn Michaels - I got hooked on him as a part of the Midnight Rockers, then followed him through his Rocker days in WWF to his time as HBK. Not very many can keep up with him when he is 'on'

    7. Ric Flair - To be the man, you have to beat the man. Not a DOMINATE champion...he always seemed vulnerable..but the BEST DAMN CHAMPION I have ever seen work. He always made you interested in the chase to take the title off of him. It didn't matter if you were a Tag Team wrestler (Like Ricky Morton) chasing him or a legit future heavyweight champ (like Sting turned out to be) he always made you look good against him. He always made you believe the challenger had a chance to take the title. And when he won, either using nefarious tactics or clean, it was a roller coaster ride.

    8. Sting - Speaking of...he was always fun to watch. His current TNA run is fun, but his first couple years really hooked me. His time in the UWF, then his run in the NWA. If Hogan hadn't of come to WcW his career would have been much more fun to watch.

    9. Rick Rude - I can't think of many people who had better heel psychology than the Ravishing One. From his entrance ('I want all you FAT, OUT-OF-SHAPE, MORONS to look at what a REAL MAN looks like as I take off my robe' ) to his technique. He was great to watch.

10 - Jake Roberts - He was probably the best worker who did the LEAST amount of work ever. WHEN he did something was more important than WHAT he did.

    1. Bret Hart. I grew up watching Bret and his brothers feud with Bad News Allen and Archie 'The Stomper' Gouldie in Stampede Wrestling. He exemplifies everything I love about wrestling.
    2. Archie 'The Stomper' Gouldie. In my opinion he gave the best heel promos in the biz. As kids, the Hart brothers honestly feared him. He would threaten to 'tear down the Hart house brick by brick' until he destroyed Stu. Awesome stuff.
    3. Bad News Allen. Same deal. A sincerely intimidating heel who could back up his promos in the real world.
    4. Dynamite Kid. A textbook example of how the business can destroy a man but in his early years and during the peak of his career he was fantastic. An innovator and trail blazer.
    5. Hayabusa 'The Flying Assassin'. I love the gimmick and the fearless way he would preform.
    6. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts. I mean c'mon how can you not mark for Jake?
    7. Brian Danielson 'American Dragon'. Whatever 'it' is he's got it. Very convincing performer. I've seen him in person a few times and even the most basic moves had me marking out.
    8. AJ Styles. He takes a lot of heat from the smarks but screw 'em. AJ with the right push in the right company could have a legendary career.
    9. Kane. My guilty pleasure.
    10. The Cobra. As a kid I thought this guy was a freakin' super hero. What ever happened to him?!

I'm still open to A.J. Styles.

I don't watch TNA enough, even though I record it religously.

He's not as bad as I'd heard, or as great as I'd heard.

He's worth watching, but still needs to grow more....maybe if he gets into the right program he'll emerge....problem is there aren't really many people he can have a 'right' program with.

The way the product is being presented now-a-days doesn't have the same spice to it as it once did. I think the 'writers' still need to figure out what the product is.

Dave was kinda being tongue-in-cheek there Monitor, considering AJ's a consultant and he's not above sucking up to the talent.

As for my 5 fave wrestlers?
    CLASSIC DAYS
    1. Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania 3 era...which makes it self-explanatory)
    2. Randy Savage (WrestleMania 7-10, the reformed misogynist who invented and reinvented the cheating/outlaw face)
    3. Big Boss Man (WrestleMania 7 time, the ultimate in law-abiding good-guy-ness)
4 & 5. The Road Warriors (any time; totally relatable, even with facepaint and spiked shoulder pads)

    CURRENT DAYS
    1. Edge (Charisma, ability, agility especially for 6'5", and the Superstar Look! he's got it all!)
    2. Matt Hardy (He's like his former BFF Edge, but he's missing SOMETHING that would take him to the World Title! ARGH!)
    3. Test (dammit, I still like him, even now that he was overpushed in ECW and that he works for TNA now...I still don't know WHY I liked him! Maybe it was his music...)
    4. Nova/Simon Dean/Mike Bucci (I don't know why, I've never seen his real matches, I just think he looks badass enough that I used him as Axl Evermore's picbase...)
Tied for 5. Kurt Angle and Christian Cage (Kurt Angle has everything Matt Hardy needs to be the champion...but he's overexposed enough to be my 5th fave. Christian just didn't rank high enough for some reason...suffering from Matt Hardy Syndrome, I guess, even though he won the NWA World Heavyweight Title)

I think TNA stars will hava a better run in the WWE :)
But that's my opinion - and you really shouldn't listen to it that much, since I have only watched 1 full PPV and 1 full tuesday show,so...I don't know that much about TNA :)
  1.
I am mainly a product of 80s & 90s so My favorite wrestlers are:

    1. Dr. Death - the first time I saw him at the Great American Bash '89 military pressing Terry Gordy who was over 300 pounds at the time against the top of a steel cage 8x times in a row with a smile on his face while doing this amazing feat I knew I was in love with this man!!! #1

    2. Hulk Hogan - Dr. Death is my favorite wrestler of all time BUT Hulk Hogan brought me to the dance back in 1984 when I first saw him make his way down to the ring with Michael Jackson's Thriller playing in the background in one of those old wwf intros from the mid '80s.

3 & 4 Road Warriors/Legion of Doom - Tie..You can't have Hawk without Animal. In my opinion THE GREATEST TAG TEAM OF ALL TIME!!!(& not many would this disagree with this statement) & along with Hulk Hogan these 2 guys are the biggest reason why I started watching wrestling at all!!!

    5. Warlord - I was such a big fan of this big man. He had so much potential...I just wished the promoters would've used him instead of making him one of the biggest main event jobbers ever.

This isn't a list of the best. Just who I enjoy watching the most.

    1. Sabu- Say what you want, but he is sabu... nuff said.

    2. Finlay- Hes actually one of the best heels in a while, he needs to be world champ.

    3. Undertaker- Durign the ministry days I liked him more, mainly because i don't like steph.

    4. Ric Flair- Take a ride on space mountain! Woooooo!

    5. Psychosis- Screw the wwe for what they did to him. Bring back the mask.

    2. Bret Hart

    3. Hulk Hogan

    4. Randy Savage

    5. Steve Austin

    6. Bill Goldberg

    7. Triple H

    8. The Undertaker

    9. Ultimate Warrior

    10. Chris Benoit
  2.
Psicosis - basically, he is who got me into pro wrestling. I was just off a dungeons and dragons kick, was channel surfing, and saw him making an entrance on Nitro and was like "who's the dude in the cool looking minotaur mask"? Lame, but yeah. He and Villano IV put on a very nice match. And my prior experience with wrestling had been WWF's old Saturday afternoon syndicated show, which was all jobber squashes. And of course once I started watching wrestling, I got to watch Psicosis put on great matches with Ultimo Dragon, Rey Mysterio Jr., Juventud Guererra... back in the late 90s he was one of the best in the world IMO, and although he's slowed down some he can still tear it up when motivated.

Darkness Dragon/K-Ness - after WCW closed and I quit watching WWE around the time Bradshaw started getting pushed and Matt Hardy got fired for having Lita cheat on him, I started looking for wrestling on Youtube and the DVDVR forums, discovered Toryumon/Dragon Gate, and discovered Darkness Dragon. His style was such a contrast to some of the others in the company, but he could keep up with the flippy guys and basically just looked awesome and had great matches.

    1. Hulk Hogan- He was the best 'face, then he was the best heel. That's range, baby:P
    2. Rowdy Roddy Piper- Defined what a heel should be.
    3. The Rock- Nobody, except Hogan, ever worked a crowd like him
    4. Edge- I like him out of character. When I see him shoot an interview, you can just tell how thankful and how awed he is by how far he's come. Truly humble individual.
    5. Finlay- The best in the ring today. Not the best workrate, but very believable. Seeing him beat Kane down was awesome.

Hard to say at the moment who my favorite wrestlers are. The current wrestling shows on in my area, i.e the WWE brand and TNA, are just so damn boring for me. I like to watch wrestling matches, ya know? But I digress, I still like select wrestlers on those brands, my current 5 favorite wrestlers would have to be:
    1. CM Punk
    2. Super Dragon
    3. Edge
    4. Christian
    5. Val Venis
    My 5 all time favorites:
    1. Bret Hart
    2. Hulk Hogan
    3. Legion of Doom
    4. Steve Austin
    5. The Rock

"Yeah guys those are all great wrestlers. What about the current wrestlers though ? Do u think WWE has the best athletes or can TNA make a breakthrough by advertising as much as the WWE? "

I don't really have any 'current' wrestlers as favorites. I just don't get into most of the 'newer' stuff. To steal a line from the late Gorilla Monsoon, 'He doesn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch' covers most wrestlers now-a-days. At least as far as the matches they work.

Triple H has put on some good matches, if given the right opponent.

Chris Benoit was enjoyable, but his end sorta still has me soured on watching his matches. Even forgetting that, his matches were formulaic for the most part over the past few years.

As I said above, I record TNA religiously...but very rarely see anything that makes me glad I did. Especially recently.

Most wrestlers today don't really use any psychology in the match. They go from move A to move B, and finish up with C. Whichever wrestler can get to point C first is the winner.

TNA allows more crazy high spots, so it is easy to say their wrestlers are more talented, but they don't really put much in between the high spots. And the high spots don't always flow together, or have much drama involved in them.

Wrestler A does an insane move causing wrestler B to take a sick bump. Not even 5 minutes later wrestler B is fine and doing an insane move of his own for wrestler A to take a sick bump. Selling moves is almost a lost art.

I mean REALLY selling a move. A piledriver on the floor used to mean a wrestler would be stretchered out. I remember when Jake Roberts DDT'd RIcky Steamboat on the floor on a Saturday Nights Main Event. Steamboat was shown in the locker room later being attended by a medic. The match was never started. They finally had a match on ANOTHER night.

Today people get DDT'd on the floor all the time, or piledriven. They barely stay down for a close *10* count.

Neither TNA or WWE allow their athletes to work to their full potential. I don't think TNA advertising more is going to change their core product.

Triple H-At Wrestle Mania 2000 he made me notice that he is that damn good

AJ Styles-I used to hate him when he first came to TNA cause I wanted Jerry Lynn to win. Then When had the triple threat at unbreaklable I was speach less.

SCSA- Cause thats the bottum line cause Stone Cold said so. When I was little I always called him Stone Cone.

D'lo Brown-I liked him in wwe when he had both of the belts. In TNA I noticed that he was to big for all of them and he was a beast.

Jeff Jerret-In wwe I liked him because he put girls in the figure four lock. In tna he was the ultmate heel but I feel sad for what happened to him.

Raven-He was the best in every promtion

John Cena as a heel-I liked that he rapped befor a match

Booker T-I liked him ever since WcW he was the first black dude in wrestling I saw as a dominet champion

HBK-The heart breaker. I called my self Shawn Micheals when me and my cosins used to wrestle. Then I changed my name to MG. But HBK is the best wimpy dominet champion

HBK - He's so talented and I love the Superkick. He's a funny guy too. I loved his merch too. I have the old HBK gloves and heart glasses. I have a HBK shirt with the crest like symbol and the one with "HBK" next to a red cutout of HBK doing his pose.

A.J. Styles - I marked out when I first saw AJ. He's what got me into watching TNA. He's just so unique and awesome to watch. I'm sorry, but if I'm glued to the TV watching AJ. I don't care if theres no ring psychology. But I do like ring psychology once in awhile don't get me wrong.

Edge - It's probably the early "loner" character that attracted me to him. He's also damn talented. He's got a great movepool and I loved watching him during the TLC matches. I loved his theme songs to death. I have the old "Edge Army" shirt that had those words in a shield like thing. I got it at the SD! when it was Al Wilson's funeral (remember that crap story). That was the first time I saw Edge.

Kane - I love his character to death! I used to have my AOL screen name as BigRedMachine and some numbers. I'm sketchy about losing the mask, but I still love watching him in the ring. He has good talent for a monster. Wahh!! I don't have any Kane Merch! Me sad.

Sting - What not to love? The crow gimmick, the charisma, the talent!

Hulk Hogan - Come on! I loved Hulkster!!! I wish I could write a book here. I have a red Hulkamania shirt.

    [/quote]

Well there's the Crow gimmick, the lack of charisma, and lack of talent...

My top picks are The Game, The Nature Boy, CM Punk, and Dusty Rhodes.
  3.
Dusty Rhodes doesn't exactly have much talent either.

And anyway, here's my top 10.

    1. Christopher Daniels - I've been a huge "Fallen Angel" fan for years. To me, he's probably the best all around lightweight in the world.

    2. C.M. Punk - Really, the only reason I watch ECW. He's incapable of putting on a bad match.

    3. Samoa Joe - Proof that a big man can also be extremely agile. Not to mention, he's also a master at submissions and of course a good power wrestler, which makes him one of the best all around talents in the industry.

    4. Jushin Liger - Easily the most successful lightweight of all time, capable of putting on a good match with anyone.

    5. Rey Mysterio - His matches in WCW with the likes of Dean Malenko, Chris Jericho, Ultimo Dragon and especially the late Eddie Guerrero are the real reason I watched WCW Nitro (and actually largely responsible for getting me back into wrestling). His matches are still good too.

    6. Kurt Angle - While there have been quite a few amateur wrestlers to take up pro wrestling over the years, never has there been another to become quite as good a worker as Angle.

    7. Brian Danielson - Easily the best mat wrestler in the industry. The only thing holding him back is a total lack of charisma.

    8. Austin Aries - Nevermind his stuff as Austin Starr, if you've ever seen him in ROH, he is truly an amazing talent. Sort of like the late Chris Benoit with agility closer to A.J. Styles.

    9. Masato Yoshino - Easy the fastest man in wrestling and a great mat wrestler too.

    10. Alex Shelley - One of the few career heel lightweights on the indy circuit. But what lets him make the list is his seemingly endless amount of talent. He's successfully blended elements of the Japanese, Mexican, and especially European styles with the American.

wrestlers of the past top 10:

    1. Eddy Guerrero - Was this man ever capable of doing a bad match? I never saw a single one.

    2. Bret Hart - Truly lived up the moniker "the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be."

    3. Chris Jericho - He had a good match with Bill Goldberg. TWICE! 'Nuff said.

    4. Chris Benoit - Nevermind how he died, during life he was still one of the best. He was still one of my faves.

    5. Steve Austin - Sure, he wasn't nearly as great a worker as any of the previous names on the list. But how can you not love him during the early going of the attitude era (especially his feud with Vince McMahon).

    6. Ricky Steamboat - Much like Bret Hart, he was clearly ahead of his time. Truly a phenomenal performer.

    7. Owen Hart - Like Guerrero and Benoit, he died before his time. And much like his brothers, he was an outstanding talent, the most agile one of them though.

    8. Lou Thesz - By far, the greatest wrestler of all time and the inventer of such moves as the Ganso Powerbomb and the STF.

    9. Tiger Mask - He did for pro wrestling in Japan what Rey Mysterio would later do in the states. His series with the Dynamite Kid is still talked about today as one of the best wrestled feuds in history.

    10. Dynamite Kid - I don't think anyone truly realizes how influential he's been on wrestling, whether it be influencing obvious ones like the new Dynamite Kid (an indy worker) and the late Chris Benoit, or less obvious ones like Christopher Daniels and Chris Sabin. Not to mention the previously mentioned series of matches with the original Tiger Mask.

Sting - My first favorite wrestler. I started watching wrestling when I was around five years old, and he was my favorite back then.

Vader - He was the next guy I called my favorite wrestler, just something I loved about watching him wrestle.

Jeff Hardy - Too this day, he's still my top favorite. I don't care if most smarks hate him, I've bought the Hardy boyz book, DVDs, and made Jeff Hardy in ever wrestling game that didn't have him.

    not quite number 1's:

I started like any other kid in my block - with The Rock. Then it was Steve Austin...
After that for a long long time - Chris Jericho.I was the only one respecting this man. When he won the title,my friends were soooooo jealous :P
And after that I stopped watching wrestling because people in Bulgaria are stupid and decided that wrestling helps feed - get this - DOMESTIC VOILENCE!!!And decided to stop bTV (a BG televion channel) to broadcast any wrestling.I think it had something to do with kids beating each other up just for the sport every day...those "Don't do this at home" clips didn't work.Even my class had championship titles and in some time we found out how to do it like the real wrestlers - without hurting each other :D :D :D We were the most fun class ever man :D :D :D
In some years another TV came on (GTV) they fronted with "Bringing back wrestling in Bulgaria" With the head stars like "Batista,Rey Mysterio and John Cena"
Then my favorite was Rey for a while, then Triple H,Evolution (mostly Randy Orton) and to this day - John Cena.I know he doesn't preform that well, but I love him for being a freestyle rapper for a little while.

I think it's safe to say that, in terms of move inventors, lots of us would give props to the Hart Family/more than half of Calgary Stampede, about half the AJPW/NOAH and NJPW roster, Lou Thesz, and various past/current WWE/ECW/TNA wrestlers. In the meantime, if you're just including someone because they invented a cool move and nothing else, then maybe you should rethink that particular favorite...?

Well there's no real "Top 10" for me... I simply can't figure out who I like more. I would be a liar if I wouldn't say that I really, really, really admire Hayabusa and his great style, his incredible high amount of input and elegance(!) in-ring. Not to say that his deathmatches were one of the most amazing I've ever seen (and that means something if a passionate BJW, IWS and FMW-Fan says that!). I also really love Necro Butcher's work. He works fudgin stiff, his deathmatches... well, I don't need to say what his deathmatches are, his selling is the greatest I've ever seen and his responses on his message board ar just great. Also he's pretty good in ring. I'm so glad that the Main Stream will never be interested in this guy due to his look. I also like Chris Hero a lot (but who doesn't^^) for his amazing allround-stuff. And, of course, the greatest chain wrestler ever (Period), Alex Shelley. I also like to see Murat Bosporus' stuff... greatest european wrestler at the time.

Hey what hapened to Y2J did he sign with WWE or what?
  6.
    The women!
    1. Manami Toyota! - So many classic matches. I loved her few gauntlet matches and matches against Aja Kong. She had more talent, more fighting spirit, and more Japanese charisma than you could shake a stick at! And she could take a beating like you wouldn't believe...

    2. Cheerleader Melissa! - I think her "Cheerleader" moniker is a bit outdated at this point... she's rather well established as a straight up wrestler, and an extremely skilled and tough one at that. She's wonderful as a heel, and her mixed matches are great and always believable. Like the above, and mostly in the afore mentioned mixed matches, she can also take a heck of a beating.

    3. Lacey! - My favorite female heel. It's like her matches are as much against the crowd as they are against her opponent... I laugh every time she rips a fan's sign in half or shields her face from someone's camera.

    4. Sarah Stock! - known in Mexico as Dark Angel. She has a phenomenal body! She's ripped and tight, like she was chiseled from a solid block of feminine muscle. Great athleticism, solid luchadora moveset and selling ability has always made her matches fun to watch.

    5. Portia Perez! - Not necessarily because she's the next big thing or anything... but more because she's built like me (same height I think, and I'm a bit trimmer :P ), and she's small, young, and feisty. Also like me. So I guess I live vicariously through her... I believe she also wrestles in mexico with a mask under the name X-Stasis.

    The Men!
    1. AJ Styles - I can't help it. I really can't.

    2. Christopher Daniels - I heard it put best by a friend of mine when he said "he has unspeakable charisma". Yeah. That crazy, intense, flying man, I cheer every time he has a spot over Samoa Joe.

    3. Kenta Kobashi - KentaKentaKentaKentaKentaKenta! I wish he was my dad. No offense to my dad.

    4. Rey Mysterio - Namely from WCW... nowadays he seems to have been rather WWE'd down. It's a shame. His match against Eddie Guererererero from whatever event is one of my favorites.

    5. CM Punk - Oh, that wonderful man. That big... strong......what was I saying?
