Now like Dave said PWX has come to this two options: Releasing an unfinished concept of PWX and hoping that everyone will buy it so the guys can earn a 1000$ to help um for a month. oooooooR to make a "linsenced game" am I right?

Here's where I ask u what do u think PWX should do?
    1) We can all give PWX 20$ for a concept (for me about 40 $ cause of all the taxes I'll have to pay) u know if I was sure that I am helping the guys and getting me a great game I'd do it. But I'm not sure. Dave said if everyone from the mail list gets a Demo the crew will have enough money to survive a month(right?).I don't think a month is enough for the guys to finish the game.

    2) Second option PWX gets funding and do a licenced brand game. Now why is that so bad I mean right now the only wrestling games... actually the only sports games that aren't made with a licensed brand suck.
But here's what I say make the game with a licensed brand get some money afterwards make a PWX 2 that game will be the ultimate wrestling game. As Dave has said not one time PWX will not be the greatest wrestling game ever but a PWX 2 will be way better

Now u can all vote here for what your choise is about PWX u can state your reasons if u wan't . But the greatest games that were made so far were with a licensed brand and u all know that.

In all honesty I cannot justify to my wife, or even myself, giving money to a game company to complete a game that could be piss poor. I am currently in debt due to my student overdraft. I have a crumby job working for a crumby company. So my situation makes me feel that giving money is not a viable option, and i'm sure that is similar for other people too. I'm sure some people on the boards are currently living off not a lot, and some are probably kids. A kid can get money off mum and dad for a videogame as a gift but saying "dad, theres this unknown gang of men whom I've never met whom i trust to make a wrestling game that is good, i just need to send them twenty pounds so that they can finish it off" isn't going to go down well.

I have no problem with the demo/ basic version of PWX being released nor do i have a problem with a license - in fact I'd prefer a license to no license as long as everything remains in the game (full customisability - if you get a license with to make an RoH game, for example, I want the option to edit over American Dragon if I wish).

If PWX got an ROH license that would indeed be awesome.

At this point I feel were almost ready to actually earn our $20 rather than accept donations or charity. I'd feel a whole lot better taking money for a finished game at this stage than any more donations. But thanks!

Things are progressing this week. We hired a new programmer to help get done faster. And one publisher offered us a 'deal' where we would promise not to self publish anything for three months while they negotiated a contract with us. Interesting.

    Not a bad prospect there.

Paying for something is fine. £10 for a basic game is a fine price by me (2 hours work).

    He needs money...
Just not by charity...he runs a business,a lot of people are like him.Struggling because of his passion. That doesn't mean he is going to get free money...
We all would like to help, but that's not the way...

The deal is that they will most likely pay him money while they are in negotiations!
