Hey guys. My buddies and I started an E-fed a little while back. I just waited to post my advertisement of it here until the site was ready.
www.gwefed.org
CAW only 360 only E-fed. My obligatory spiel follows in quote marks:
"I know what your thinking... F*** this guy, I've never joined an E-fed I liked. Or maybe your thinking F*** this guy, my E-fed is fine.
Well f*** you for doubting me.
GWE: Gamers Wrestling Extreme (www.gwefed.org) is the newest E-fed on the block.
You need SVR 07 for the Xbox 360.
I know what your thinking "Extreme"? Who the f*** does this dude think he is? Nick Mondo? I didn't name it I just work there.
Myself and two other individuals run the site. We have a pretty reasonable rule set. We do two shows a week, Monday (Rebellion) and Friday (Livewire). Raw and Smackdown, yes we know.
Once a month we host a pay-per-view. At the next ppv, we're gonna host our title tournaments.
We currently have four vacant titles.
GWE World Championship GWE United States Championship GWExtreme Championship (for the yardtard in you) GWE Tag Team Championship
As the site is just starting up, you can make a name for yourself as the first champion.
Typically our card will be set by the members and moderated by the admins. Set up your own damn feuds we don't care. All matches get submitted to either myself or one of the other two admins.
The site is still under construction, so forgive me if it looks a little rough.
If you decide to join GWE, pm me over there. My username is "Mike Masdeu". It's a good way to keep my buddy admin from deleting you. We had some hacker troubles a little while back, so he's grown a little over protective.
Comment all you want on the site here, I actually want to hear your opinions."
Thanks. Most of it I edited myself. BTW, I'm not a fan of that default skin, but the other dudes love it. If you go to the bottom right, you can click on my favorite, which is knockout.
Well I watched Straus VS Malachi, the other one wouldn't work. I don't really like the presentation you guys use to be honest, I prefer shows to be one big file instead of split up over matches with no promos etc. Also, you guys need to turn off in-game commentary, and do your own... it really sells the show. Also the sound was way too low, except the music, which was like 200-250% higher. Back to commentary, I had no idea who the guys were in the match, no idea their finishers, no idea the psychology behind the match, this is why you need to get a mic, or ask someone to do com com for you. Also, you seemed to have accidentally hit the ref several times, didn't look like it was part of the plan for the match, when you make a major botch in your match plan you should really refilm instead of just continuing to film.
EDIT: Yes I realize you do promos in text, but I mean I prefer in-video cutscenes, not text based.
Well what this fed differs from your fed as it's a competition fed. It's not simmed matches and it's not mapped out. If a ref bump occurs the match should continue because the match is an actual competition between the real Malarchy Mike Masdeu and the Guy who plays Brandon Strauss. Again that was the roughest card we're going to have as it was rushed due to getting the site up and running etc.
Thanks for your comments dratsab. BTW how would you go about doing in game cutscenes?

Gah, I wish my youtube hadn't been banned, I had an in-game cutscene up. Well in FWNN, my friend Waffle's fed, he would just film 2 guys backstage in the pool room or in the hallway etc. In my fed I put Urb C on a mic from story mode, cut the sound, and put voice over it. You can also use subtitles I guess.
Also, didn't realize it was a real match. That sounds like a cool idea then. Still would be cool if you could get some real commentary over it.
Look, since this is in the "other wrestling games" discussion, and not taking up space on the primary PWX discussions, e-fed advertising is kind of allowed. But please keep the bitchery to a minimum, or I'm gonna have to get a mod to lock this thread.
But I'm not mad at advertising them advertise all u want but why do u have to say "This is the best f^%$ckin e-fed so join now" Just say "here's a link to my e-fed check it out if u want" see now is that so hard?
