yes, that's exactly what that move appears to be.

That is just... i don't think theres a safe waytodo it. The force added from running would surely fracture that guys neck

That's what it says in the link too.

Probably, but I don't see why it can't be in a game.

It's not unrealistic, if we were going on realism all the matches would be preplanned and we wouldn't be playing wrestling games like they were a sports game now would we? So as long as the move is physically possible I don't see why it couldn't be in.

A move where a guy would amost guarenteed die isn't realistic. I mean I have no problem with this being a game but that move could not be safely done without itlooking weaker than it does.

If you can do an arm drag off a ladder to the floor, I don't see why this move can't be included.

psh i dunno the Ganso bomb was first a botched powerbomb. With the running power behind the force generated plus the downward motion on the head/neck could easily result in a guy being paralyzed.

Well then, I guess that's what the first "official fan-made" PWX mod could be based off of: What if the moves were intended to be FOR REAL? This move would easily be among the most desired, probably.
  3.
Actually the Ganso Bomb was originally a botched Piledriver. And if you look it up, the word Ganso means ORIGINAL, which basically means it was the first version of the Powerbomb

No, it was a botched Hurricanrana Reversal. Misawa got accidentally dropped on his head.

Topic: I see no reason why this game shouldn't be in PWX. We already have the "normal" Ganso Bomb, so why not this? And other games have also moves which would kill in real Life (If you've seen the Neck Drop and the Burning Hammer from No Mercy/Fire Pro, then you'll know what I'm talking about).

Put the move in-game.Wrestlers do more extreme stuff than some move that might fracture your neck...

Wrong. It was done years before by Lou Thesz, Kawada didn't do it first. I don't like the idea of a running one as it sounds a little like what D'Lo did to Droz. If you get every other move in the game, add this one afterwards and I'll just not use it.

I just don't see the point in having this move in before all the moves that are more commonly performed and then the ones that are possible without having a good chance of killing the other guy. Really, would anyone agree to take this move?

I like the No Mercy Mod - it looks nice, far smoother than some i've seen.

Those No Mercy move hacks blow my mind. That cannot be easy to do at all.
  6.
While we are on the subject of moves that should be added to PWX, the verticle suplex that Bret Hart does has to be in. I'm sure most of you guys know what I mean. When Bret picks the guy up, as he is upside down and about to fall over the other side Bret kicks his legs high up in the air. Next to the way that The Great Muta does a verticle suplex it is the best verticle suplex in wrestling history.

Also, there has to be at least two versions of the Sharpshooter: Bret's version where he places his left leg through and to the right side of the opponent's legs. The second: Sting's Scorpion Deathlock where he places his right leg through and to the left side of the legs. I was always so mad at Acclaim with the Legends of Wrestling series where they would always mess up this move.

Do you guys have any idea of how many "old school" moves are being added to the movelist?

Actually not. They're not really hard at all. It's way easier than actually animating moves.

I love making hacks. You can really put out a good hack in under thirty minutes.

Dave, if you're really all that interested in No Mercy hacks, go check out the NMZ. http://thenomercyzone.clicdev.com

You can see some of my work there, as well as a few others' stuff.

No I've tried it. It's fucking hard. Nairanvac is just a god. He's like Neo. He sees the world in hex. I oughta know, I've been trying to move hack No Mercy since I joined the NMZ like 2 years ago.

Don't feel bad. I was at the NMZ almost two years before I did anything noteworthy.

And, yes, it's true, I see the world in hex.

See that's the thing, that's only the second hack I was able to actually complete successfully and even then I had a bit of help. It really helped to break it down into steps and know what each line of code does. I know that and I still don't completely have the hang of it.

I 2nd that. Tried it, too, made a friggin cool Tyler-Black-Fisherman-DDT-into-Small-Package with glitches bad as fuck and can't fix it cuz my stupid english skills don't help me to understand what all this Toki stuff and damage mods and distance ist about.
