The pro wrestling game made for the fans

Wrestling Gamers United Newsletter #863

More New Stuff!

Got a lovely early morning surprise a few days ago from our lead artist. He completed a nasty Tombstone Piledriver just in time for some Halloween promotion along with an alternate attire for PWX’s original Grimhold character AND he completed an entirely new character that we’re simply referring to as the ‘ninja’.

Or is he really just a collection all new CAW parts that might accidentally be able to be arranged into a damn fine Hayabusa CAW? Can’t prove it 😉

NVidia Shield TV Support

Sweet! Thank you to Joshua for letting me know about Pro Wrestling X working well NVidia Shield TV!

“Hey just to let you know, your game works on the Nvidia Shield TV with the Steam streaming beta. I thought that was really cool when i tried it. In order to make it work you either have to use the right analog stick as a mouse to launch the game or use an external but still really cool nonetheless.”

Question of the Week

The lead programmer behind Pro Wrestling X, our savior, our 4th Horseman, DA MAN, is being interviewed for an upcoming podcast. Any questions you’d like to ask him?

Quote of the Week

“Sometimes the only time you can grow is by throwing away everything everyone says is right, fair and acceptable. Sometimes you just gotta say, I’m doing this because it’s right for me. It’s right for my family. And it’s right for everyone else – they just don’t know it yet- or they refuse to admit it. Sometimes being the bad guy means you’re the only who’s the right one in the room. Sometimes you gotta just stand up and say enough, even when no one else sees what’s wrong. Sometimes, the empty walk down the hallway is the best thing that ever happened to you. Don’t ever confuse solidarity with exile. Don’t even confuse defiance for treachery. Don’t ever confuse youth for inexperience. Feeling content is great – on your deathbed. No one should be punished for fighting tooth and nail for their dreams. I will never stop fighting. It’s not a threat. It’s not a promise. It’s a fact.” – Patrick Hickey Jr.

In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.
