I Don’t Know

JEEZUS! I was hoping that all of this crazy dental surgery I had weeks ago would be healed up by now and that you would see my sexy face in at least one new video showing off the progress we’ve been making lately. My mouth is still a horror show (along with the grammar that usually comes out of it) so, fuck it, I’m just going to keep shooting new video wearing a variety of bandanas, masks, and surgical masks. Why do I own surgical masks? That’s not important right now. Will I look ridiculous? I dunno. Probably. But after not shipping a game for almost ten years of development I’ve lost all fear of public humiliation.

Over the Mountain

My daughter was recently accepted to Vancouver Film School (!!!) so it looks like I’ll be moving the Pro Wrestling X office (har har) back to Vancouver by this time next year. I left some wonderful crew members, friends, and mentors behind when I moved to Alberta ten years ago and I’m looking forward to being back in that energy again. Not looking forward to driving a UHaul truck with questionable braking ability over the Rocky mountains again. Hmmm wife could drive the UHaul while I ride my motorcycle…

Diary of a Madman

I broke down a month or so ago and finally started seriously pulling my thoughts together for a book about Pro Wrestling X, it’s history, and the people who did and didn’t make it happen. Thought I should do it while the memories were still there but I honestly don’t think that kind of trauma fades easily 😉

This is no small task, but I’ve been asked to do it so many times that I figured I should at least get up an hour earlier every day to devote time to it and git ‘er dunn. I’d like to at least have a record of what I did with this portion of my life so that my daughter can one day understand exactly why daddy drinks. At the very least it should serve as a solid piece of evidence to help me cop an insanity plea one day.

Part of the ‘fun’ housekeeping that comes with being all responsibly incorporated again is making sure that a decade of different accounts that may have been set up personally or still under the old WishboneX Creations label allllll get moved over to the new Hammerlock Media Inc. name. So please bare with us if I break anything like social media accounts or web hosting in the process. Oh yeah, Pro Wrestling X is now a big shiny production of the big shiny new Hammerlock Media Inc. company!

Question of the Week

When was the last time you were honestly offended by anything I’ve said or written? Asking for a friend…

Quote of the Week

“If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to use the words ‘fuck off’ much more frequently.” -Helen Mirren

In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.
